One issue I noticed was the new provinces added to the Tibet region to connect the Tarim Basin to China have underscores in their names. Not a major issue, but wanted to bring it to your attention.

@rivetalDM I seem to be having a tech problem as well. Not running any other mods, but suddenly my tech invention progress is 0% for every nation. Sometimes it works for a while then just stops working again.

It also constantly tells me there are new inventions and omens available even though there is not any. So wondering if that can help you track down the bug.

Great mod! If you need any help with the Chinese side of things let me know. I can look into Chinese sources for you if you aren't familiar with the language.

@jozef_zaffino: Nope, definitely not. What country and running any other mods? Im thinking the techs will definitely be another mod that overwrites changes to the tech window. Traditions, not sure what that would be; any more details are helpful.

@Keanu: Looks like there's a bug in that mission where it's looking for a bad variable. It should be looking to make sure the mission isn't already completed, but it's actually looking at a previous mission instead. I will get it fixed for the next update.

Playing as Rome, and cannot complete the "Push North" mission after conquering Aemilla, Cenommania, and Ferraria provinces.

the inventions meter doesn't seem to increase. each researcher is suppose to contribute .25% times skill lvl times loyalty % but none is registered

One issue I noticed with the new release is on the population screen for the provinces. The section where the optimal ratio appears, it is covered by the Culture, Religion, & Classes bars. I removed all other mods, except this one, & checked on vanilla 1.2 to be sure. Certainly not a game-breaking bug, but wanted to alert you. Hope this helps & appreciate your tireless work.

no, i shut off all my mods & it was still doing it. it was working before they last patch that added the food system. its something to do with the names of provinces/outlines of old map not lining up with the new map due to the adding of china

Koseph, are you using the Satellite Strategic View mod? I know that mod had to be updated for 1.1, so it may not yet be compatible with 1.2.

@koseph: not anything else that makes changes to the map in any way nor to graphics like the flatmap (what the map looks like when zoomed all the way out).

I did take a look on the forums & Reddit to see if Paradox was aware of the issue. Thankfully, it seems that the de-population will be addressed next week. So, should be one less thing for your to-do list. Appreciate your hard work, as always, RivtalDM.

@Lord Palmerston: I'll try to see if I can do something about this; it was introduced by Paradox but might be adjustable.

Been loving the update for the new 1.2 material. But one thing I noted in 1.2 now, it seems provinces become de-populated more readily than in 1.1. Double checked mod-less & it seems to be from there. Not sure what can be done via modding, since this may be baked into the base game.

Well *face palm*. The mod wasn't even active thats why no china. I literally smacked my forehead with how dumb that was lol. In my defense i had just woken up and hadnt had my coffee yet :P But wow :( guess got too excited to play lol

Is the main mod the only one with China? I updated to the beta patch and china isn't there for me. But I also have Vae Victis 1.2 beta since I believe that one only changes military/battles. Is that possibly making China not work? I'm unable to look since won't be back on my PC for a few days.

Aware of and working on the latest changes to the beta; this one is going to take a bit because A) the city/settlement changes mean a LOT of entries in the province setup being adjusted B) they added even more things that lack icons which I can't stand to look at.

The missions do not appear to be working properly. As Rome, the Missions tab pulls up the Decisions menu. The Decisions menu also accesses the Decisions menu, so I can't access any of the missions. Thanks for taking the time to create this mod. It has otherwise been great.
