Hmm, that's... odd. the "soundbanks" should be built whenever you load a save? Unless they changed it (been awhile since I did anything with this mod).

On the plus side, it got rid of the annoying Sensor Tower Beeping. That was giving me a headache during the Power of Three.

On the minus side, turning that option off and restarting didn't restore the sound. Disabling the mod and restarting didn't restore the sound either. Finally, completely uninstalling the mod and restarting the game didn't restore the bleeping either. But... that's fine. It is an annoying sound.

I'm sorry for the late reply, it happens when you get the "Food shortage" alert on the left side of the screen. And he make this sound everytime one more colonist is hungy. Then you hear the sound again everytime one of the hungry colonists is not hungry anymore. I swar it's making me going crazy.

Hello, thank you for this useful mod. Is it possible to add an option to disable the hungry colonists alert sound? It's very annoying and there is no way to disable it.

Well now. This is interesting.

It's Sol 12 in my new game, first shift, and I'm enjoying the fact that I managed to get the Small Spacebar music turned off via the mod.

The bar closes at the end of first shift (the only one I'm able to keep it open for just now). The rest of the day goes by...next morning, the bar opens up again. And the music starts up again.

I save it, then load the Sol 12 game up again. Small Spacebar is open...and quiet.

Load up the Sol 13 save again. Small Spacebar is open...and playing music.

Back and forth another time...same results.

Quite strange.

Of the mods I have running, I think the only one that does anything other than tweak the UI would be SkiRich's Career A.I. So I tried disabling it, loading the Sol 12 save again, and running it forward again...and same result as before, the sound came back when Small Spacebar opened up for business on Sol 13.

What you describe is indeed what I did when I first started my current game last night. Then at the end of the session, saved and quit.

Started up again this evening, loaded the game, built my first Small Spacebar...and that's when I heard the music. (I had suspected that the disabling of sensor tower beeping was also not working, but am still never entirely sure which of the various beeps and chirps and bongs I hear are which to be honest.)

But it seems that now, some fresh combination of readjust settings-save-quit-restart-load has finally got it silenced. Weird.

Will let you know if I figure out more precisely what works versus what doesn't in the whole business.

Had you first loaded in the saved game then quit to the main menu and started a new one?

Toggling the settings and hitting Apply didn't do anything by itself...but I went on and quit the game entirely, restarted, loaded up the save...and the Small Spacebar music is gone. Huzzah! Will report back if I hit another snag.

Thank you so much for this, and for your other mods.

(I played all the way to Sol 100 on my first playthrough of this game, but then carefully sifted through mods looking for QoL improvements, and installed over a dozen of yours, plus a few others. What an upgrade to the gameplay experience!)

I installed this mod and turned it on in the middle of a game that was already started, without the DLCs...and it worked great and was a lifesaver. (The same little loop of Small Spacebar music was driving me crazy!)

Now I've started a new game, with all DLC...and it's not disabling any of the sounds anymore! Oh no. Does this mod need an update? Have I done something wrong?

Is it possible to add a way to reduce the volume of specific sounds?

Either way, it'd be nice to have an option for the Rare Metals Extractor. Those things are loud!

It would be nice to turn off the geyser sound effect! It's awful when you get stuck by one of those, not only is the sound annoying but you can't terraform it out of existence either.

First let me thank you for this mod - these are livesafer tools ;-)
- but does it work still with all the dlc's?

I subscribed and enabled the mod, turned off only the spacebar music in mod-options (all other sounds there are "on") but the spacebars still play their music.

The big spacebar does not bother me, but the small one is quite annoying - is this mod outdated or do I handle it wrong?
