I do not recommend this mod. The mod title is misleading and it creates a very frustrating experience when you start getting to bosses like AI and further. These bosses have a stupid amount of health. They are not more challenging or more interesting, they just take significantly longer.

The expectation for this mod based on name and description is "Cool new turrets that are rare and expensive." The reality is that the new turrets do not remotely compensate for the increase to boss health so you're forced into massive tanky fleets and the turrets do not feel impactful.

Can this mod be safely removed from an existing save?

There is no error displayed in the game, there is nothing even in the logs

Test here all weapons in all materials. Build stations on all material types on the galaxy and can build all turrets, following all rules that drop the turret and can build all of them.
Don't see any problems.
Can you show me images of erros when you try to build any HET turrets on Discord, pls?

Xsotans can erase sectors, so be carrifull when "play" with them.

This mod was created to make your life as complicated as possible. Keep in mind that you will suffer a lot to get things depending on the difficulty you choose.


The Idea If they mod is make your game really hard, but I did some nerds on enemies, including Bosses.

мод отличный, но слишком сильно увеличивает размеры кораблей, в итоге у турелей с данного мода не хватает урона против миллиардов прочности. В то время как теже пираты или ксотаны тебя сносят за секунды из-за множителя урона.

This mod seems to break auto turret feature for subsystems. Whenever I play a save or new save with this mod all turrets I try to assign to auto or say have auto targeting dont work

Not sue if this is also affecting anyone else but i have noticed that boarding shuttles are now broken, i have tested my mods and its occurring from this mod

Hello @Awesome_Dante, the bosses they get nerfed after people of the Rust server, tell to me that bosses are really hard for some players. So to make the fun for everyone, I did the nerf.
Maybe I can make change on weapons too, but now i'm on a project that don't leave me time to make these changes.

It's funny to read that this mod was supposed to make the game hard, because I use the flamers to cheese just about everything. But anyway I'm here to pile on to the fact that you should scrap the bosses entirely or at least make the corrupt AI worth even visiting. That's what brought me here, Kinda spent like 400 hours or so on a new campaign to find that my handy dandy Avorion farm has now become entirely useless. Hes not even hard, I steam roll him with a single ship, so its kind of annoying. Love the turrets man, hate the bosses :/

Everything is linked. To remove bosses and leave only turrets I will need to change all the mod.

Another thing is: This mod was created to make your life as complicated as possible. Keep in mind that you will suffer a lot to get things depending on the difficulty you choose.

So without bosses and others things implememted, the mod will lose the main idea. Make the game really hard!

is there a way to only play with the turrets added and none of the hp and boss changes? i tried just downloading the het turrets i specifically wanted but that didn't seem to work like i thought.

Well I personally subscribed to the mod and restarted the game. Now it still fails but doesn't throw any remarks in the log. I'll try messaging server owner about it.

On the Rusty's server just trying the craft a turret at a factory. All materials in the ship and build button does and says nothing. Just that line in the log.

Trying to build a Coax HET Pulse laser shotgun and nothing happens. Only clue I have is the following line in the log when clicking build.

2024-01-25 06-18-21| Entity with index 0c3c8cbc-12b9-48a6-94f9-c04fc9f1971c has no script with index '9'.

Not everything from the Rift Missions is exposed to be modified. Perhaps I'll have to create new functions for these things to work properly. I'm not sure if it will work either; I'll have to take more time to check it. I'll take a look! Thank you for your feedback! :winter2019happyyul:

The changes related to Xsotans seem to be causing problems with some Rift missions. It seems that the special boss event called by Captain Xsotan Hunter is not triggering properly. In the Into the Swarm mission, excessively large enemies appear.The Xsotan raid event that appears after defeating the WHG may be difficult to proceed due to the Xsotan being larger than the default (as in the previous WHG battle). Therefore, it would be nice if all the remains of the Xsotans could be destroyed immediately.I apologize for my poor English sentences.

They will always penetrate shields. I don't wanna change the original idea of the weapon!!

I will lower the damage and increase the reload time! I think it will solve the problem. :winter2019happyyul:

Could you leave the ones with blue flames to still penetrate shields? would be awsome since it would differ them from the normal ones, not just in colour

It not flames. They are ionized flames. So they are diff. That's why they can go through shields. I will nerf them this weekend. If you remove them from the mod, you will break your server. Don't try it :winter2019sadbulb:

For now you can install Shield Reinforcer Module. They will make Flamethrower useless.

I have something personal against those flamethrowers..since is a space game, you know there is no oxygen in space to ignite and sustain the flames so normally they shouldn't even work. BUT IF THEY DO, somehow ( cuz is a game) why in the world they would ignore the shield? it does not make any sense to me. So I asked before and I will ask again, how do I remove those from my server?

kkkkkk weapons dude!! Use the right weapons. . . People from Rusty server understand how to beat te AI. One thing, I test all bosses and can tell to you, it's possible to beat it. Long range weapons are the good deal.

Just to know, the problem is not the AI, but the pieces from it!!!

One question for you: your fleet is really strong to beat The AI?

Question for you. How the hell are you supposed to beat the AI. I have a battle group of 5 ships all in the Trinium range and I still have to run away every time after the fleet is wiped out

Thanks for fixing the tooltip of the fighters, is there a way to get this mod WITHOUT the flamethrowers which are broken/unbalanced and ugly af? or if you could NERF the shit out of them as it destroys the whole awesome mod you created? :steamfacepalm:

For behemoths don't know if I can do something cuz all codes are hardcoded. I will look if I can find something to do, bit no promisses.

glad its not just me having the fighter issues, also would be nice to have the behemoths scaling with this mod, since they are kinda weak cosidering the strengh of the weapons :)

We like your mod, could you sort out the tooltip issue for the fighters? is sad having to guess the amount of DPS / Efficiency etc has. Thx !

sub, started using your mod with some others and really enjoying it so far :D sadly ive encounterd an issue where fighters(Both bought and crafted) wont show any stats, just a blanc little menu opens, any idea what could cause this?

This mod you can add to your playthrough normally, but suggest you to make a backup of your game, cuz to remove, if you don't like it, may cause problem.
