Report a translation problem
Is there anyway to add Longbow / Assault Tanks to hunt? When I play a skirmish against an AI with loads of units it would help if my artillery and tanks could help fight ;) with less macro. After all the AI hunts me...Is it a quick fix? I added canHunt = 1 to some odf's. The menu appears now but does nothing.
After 1 minute the first bomber arrives, and several minutes later getting swarmed by mortar bikes without being able to defend, base wiped in econds.
PS: Condor and Nova Carrier are just APCs that carry assault tanks instead of infantry :P (They come pre-loaded with tanks)
This is my mod of choice right now. The textured skins/maps and the mod addon to the scion i like playing is for lack of a better word, exquisite. UNREAL.
This also taught me how to build-cancel as well to skip slow scrap accumulation, which is both handy and manditory. And oh... rocket towers, the only defence you'll ever need. Found that out the hard way!
The way mods are integrated with the workshop in BZCC, all gameplay assets must be explicitly integrated by a particular config mod. What this means is that if a particular map is to be played in a mod, the modder must add that to the mod specifically; the user isn't able to load other maps themselves, independent of the mod. Unfortunately, the makers of VSR have not given us permission to use their assets in Retaliation X, and it would be a breach of Steam TOS to do so against their wishes.
My suggestion to you is to ask them to reconsider. If enough people express an interest, maybe they will change their minds.
please stop spanning this comment section. you're on warning now, and I'll leave these posts as a RECORD to everyone that we had this exchange. We understand you are frustrated with this mod. That's fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion. You've given it once, we accept it, so move on. Any further negativity in this comments section from you will be considered as HARASSMENT and responded to appropriately.

Either get as much defense as quickly as you possibly can, destroy the Recycler and immediately complete the rest of the mission with the transmitter and collapse the cave before your base gets overrun, or let enemy build a base in the south, and beat them that way. That way you will also have a lot more defense built to hold off the Mauler swarm, but they will eventually prevail so you need to head to the cave and speed past them in a fast unit (like a Scout or Mortar Bike) and trigger the collapsing cave to stop the Maulers."
