@inkopikiacks I think I got it. You have to use the attribute string and type in $basetexture for both the shirt (srl_coat) and the coat (srl_coat_recolor). Then use Robin's texture that should work. If that's not the issue plz forgive me.

do you have a srl coat that i can use for Robin i tried the textures and it didnt work
i have nearly every splatoon pack so i would be surprised if i dont have the right pack please let me know if you have anything thanks

What you want to do is right click the item you want to add texture to the animation set editor and click add override material at the bottom

Right click your desired model again and click show in element viewer ,then press model

Find a set of yellow words and expand it. This next part may be a bit difficult but stay with me.

Right click on the green words and find where it says add element. You want to click on string. After that a prompt will appear asking for what kind of attribute you want. Type in $basetexture . The model should now no longer have its texture. Now copy and paste the texture you want to add into the empty prompt ( like models\Finest\fire_emblem\coat_robin.vtf ) . if everything went well the model s texture should now be changed.
