Does killing him level up the ebony blade after beating him in a brawl?

After I cut his head off I took his clothes, I tossed his body in front of the castle, then wih his soul in a gem, I transfered inside a puny iron dagger and left it at the pub of New Gnisis Cornerclub. An eternal tool for the hated Dunmer, that is his punishment.

well with rolf gone at least that lady dunmer might be able to sleep better, i killed that other guy who was harassing her too so

I downloaded this mod after I completely OWNED him in a brawl. So I killed him, set him next to the dark elf bard as his final resting place to further insult him, and, surprisingly, I got a letter. The letter contained his inheretance. I now carry even more of his money. I probably just took his life savings with one trip to the bar. (My character's an argonian; his #2 most hated race.)

Thank you for the mod! I tried to do this myself, but, for some reason, the command to make him non-essential just WOULD NOT WORK. I'm glad that you've made such a noble effort to put an end to that racist nord.

I used Soul Tear to kill him and take his soul. After he revived due to the shout, I used Lightning Storm to kill him again. I used his soul to enchant a pair of boots- That way I can step on him wherever I go.

I love this mod. Killing Rolff is literally the first thing I do in Windhelm.

For some reason Rolff won't brawl me, all he does is take my money at the end. At first i thought it was because i am a Dark Elf, but i have an old Dark Elf save and it let me brawl him then. Any fix?

Thanks! For some reason my Skyrim copy won't let me toggle the essential state of a lot of NPCs (in either direction) so this was just what I needed! :)

why did they made him essential at the first place? hes a stupid piece of crap and i killed him (as much as i could) so many times...with fire. and ice. and poison. and many, many weapons and spells. what a douche.

@eve, i have no idea when it concerns Rolff, specially the fact that theres only 2 sidequests involving him as far as i know, 1 from the thieves guild and if i remember correctly the other one is if you initiate a fist fight with him for money.

I've wanted to kill Rolff Stone-Fist as soon as I first saw him and Angrenor Once-Honored accusing that Dark Elf lady of being an Imperial spy, I killed Angrenor but up until now I couldn't kill Rolff. I like the Dunmer and Argonians, them being harassed in Windhelm led me to join the Imperials. But I still despise the Thalmor and I worship Talos.

Just add this to your skyrim.ini file to be able to kill anyone you want:
