It took some time to figure out what did what. But after it clicked I finished the map without too much trouble. Funny mechanics!

Confusing, but interesting. Thanks!

Am I suppoed to be able to jump on top of the cube to get in the funnel ? It felt a little goofy but it was the only way I could see to do it.

Very good

Wow, no need for that toggle in your solution, quite clever i must say although as you have seen in the walkthrough there is no need for the "wiggly" in the funnel.
I'm aware it can be done but I prefere not to use it as an intended solution in a puzzle because I think it feels like cheating.
When the voting is done I'll fix it.
For those logic gates, It was the best I could come up with to make the connections as clear as possible making it look like the weighted button is connected to the pedestal. I also put it in the description right under a screenshot showing it to be as clear as possible :)
Anyway, thanks alot for your video and feedback.

I'm torn between admiration and rejection. While the puzzle is great (when done correctly) I feel like it's not in the spirit of the "one element" theme with the behind the scenes logic. At one point I decided to never use logic gates for puzzle relevant elements because it is unintuitive to me, and it was hurting me here again when I was stuck for an eternity missing one simple step. In the end I was forced to ride the funnel and wiggle my tail in it since I didn't see a better option. After watching your walkthrough I see why I blanked and I'm not sure if I should blame myself or the logic in this map.
Here is my rather unsatisfying solution: http://youtu.be/6DvvA4r4siQ

yep people do that without letting you know what could be improved.
My best guess is the same as yours, they can't solve it...

Going to play all your maps now.
Do you find you get negative ratings because players can't work out the Puzzle?
I have a new map that needs testing. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=183262540

That's what you wanted isn't it? ;)

Thanks for your comment.
I will play your map as I play all the submissions to be able to vote :)
Those fizzlers are there to enforce the intended way and from what you tell me it worked.
the first cube travels around a lot to get the 2nd...
Brave 6 Oct, 2013 @ 12:26pm
Well I finished your map and it was not easy, especially the backtracking to get the 2nd cube.
I watched LPChip blind run vid. after I played this chamber and seen you made some changes adding in 2 more fizzlers at getting the 2nd cube and exit area making more work for someone!
My map "Friend to the End" is in the same contest as this 1, perhaps you can play it and give me your feedback on it Nintendo.Erk....thanks!

I liked this map. I was a bit confused about the relation of the pedestal button and the floor button in the beginning but after I figured it out everything went quite smoothly. Well done!
LPChip 5 Oct, 2013 @ 7:43am
Nice map. I first played a blind-run which was somewhat unintended. By the moves I learned, I found out this map can be pretty easily be broken by just this little technique. You can prevent this but its really hard, because you need to make the entire chamber bigger.

Here's my blindrun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boCKf5vq_e0

I'm really sorry about the exit signs, this is what the PeTI made of it :/
That portalable surface is there to get back from there safely without having to jump to the funnel.
Anyway thanks for yor feedback :)

Nice puzzle. Although I have the same complaint as DeathWish808, no signage on the exit door makes it impossible to discern from a standard door. And that portalable surface next to the exit confused me, it probably has a use in the intended solution but I threw the cube into the funnel

Awesome and fun map. Had to pause and think several times. I liked this one a lot.
nintendo.erk  [author] 1 Oct, 2013 @ 11:14pm
Thanks for your video, you didn't solve it completely intended though.
I made some small changes which I hope will enforce the intended way making the puzzle a bit more challenging :)
DeathWish808 1 Oct, 2013 @ 3:59pm
That was a fun one. Once I figured out when things were permanent and not (Which wasn't long) everything made sense and was fairly easy to figure out. Very well put together. Well done!

P.S. I thought that the door was to another chamber because no signage was on it and it looked like a beemod door. No biggie though.
