It did look like removing the modifiers.as file would solve the issue.

I haven't gone back to it yet, I have to re-learn everything every time I have to update :bandit:
Hammerwatch II release made me question if there was even a point, I'll see if I can do something about it

Someone in the hammerwatch discord made mention that this mod is overwriting the modifiers.as file with no real changes. This is causing compatibility issues with other mods. Perhaps you could update this mod without the modifier.as file?

Heads up to anyone who gets a weird frozen camera bug when loading into a character, the Geomancer mod doesn't get along with the "Clever Merge Mod". Disabled Clever Merge and Geomancer works great with my ton of other mods. Ty for the cool class!

Hello, I wanted to warn you that there is a sound bug that can occure with the Earthsplitter spell.
The bug here is that the sound of Earthsplitter is going on without ever stoping at the area where I casted it in certain conditions.

I encountered the bug doing this:
- Speaking to the PNJ that respec spells right after casting the spell. Apparently it doesn't occure with other PNJ, but possible I'm wrong on that.
- Doing a portal to skip the level. It occured at the end when I destroyed the cube and opened my inventory. I though it was by opening my inventory right after casting the spell, but don't seems to be that since I can't reproduce this one.

sometimes it has a potion and other times its just missing its slot is just empty from the start but great mod other than that

Hah! NG testing, I'll check. I've been told the Boulder scales really a lot with items, so it will surely need a rebalance anyway. I didn't have time to do higher level testing, this explains that :D

I had my level 21 Sorcerer transform to the geomancer and I think if you test the dmg in NG+1 or in the Pyramids the boulder dmg is already too low. Also I don't want to be too impertinent BUT I don't anyone would want to stand still in hammerwatch beside the archer with his long range.

Hey Rub-A-Duck,
Around what levels did you try? I felt like the boulder damages were sufficient, as it almost one-hits spawners, i will look into higher levels when I get home. Also, were you using a fully stacked Stone armor? It turns the Geomancer into a supporting class, so the damages will be lower. Still I didn't feel any kind of troubles clearing packs tho, Sorcerer's projectiles do bounce, but Geomancer's are piercing, closer to the Ranger's idea.

I would think that a lasting Quake aoe would block the player more than enemies, leaving them the advantage of swarming you, I'll think aboit it but let's face it, the Quake aoe is instantaneous, the rock ring is only a picture that give an impression of being walled in :D

So I just jumped in and test the class. Not bad I would say. Give the giant rock ball a massive DMG buff and maybe increase the cooldown then. The auto attack has too little AOE clear. Think of the Sorcerer, he has one projectile but it can bounce of enemies. So maybe add an effect to it?
The rock circle is good but it would be better if it would be staying for like 1-2 seconds to make a little arena and block incoming projectiles and enemies? The stone spikes a fine and only need dmg buff + a sound file :D

I feel like basic attacks hitbox is too little and looks hard to land, while Boulder hits walls very easily, that might be what you felt

I tryed shortening the spell descriptions, I might just change everything to be like right clic, where only the first level explains the skill, while the next levels only show the changes
Quicksand has a problem, as it spawns following the cooldown I gave it, and also an other time on a different cooldown?! Listing it for now, but the spell itself being a pretty massive slow in AOE, I found it to be fited for kiting or running away, and lets the Geomancer become an actual support in multiplayer. I will tho look into it's lifespawn (I also feel like it's hard to use)

Fun character. I would focus on flushing out the skill descriptions to be a bit more clear as to what they do.
The quicksand threw me off a little, maybe try incorporating it into the other skills, short lifespan and random activation make it quite hard to utilize.

The color menu is not working yes
Can you add some songs for the left and right click ?
