I completely forgot to say, the reason i'm not satisfied with the weapon's zero damage to tanks (Not to mention even somehow the T-26) is although yes, i am keen to historical accuracies and, as examle, understand the Boys AT Rifle's poor effectiveness, but what i'm not fan of is gameplay frustration. While giving it only some damage against tanks so it doesn't do as much damage as Kb Wz 35 and PTRD/S 41 would be fine, but making it do absolutely NOTHING to tanks is just unfair for the gameplay.

I know Bots don't know how to shoot at weakspots but it still matters that 9 Boys AT rifles against a T-26 which is just a light tank with no descent armour and showing no successfulness of disabling is equals ridiculous

But anyways, we'll see, you won't mod for a while you say

Bots don't know how to shoot at weakspots from what i know, but well as i said on the G41 (iirc it was there) i will not mod for a while, so this goes to the list. The issue is that balancing the Boys is very hard, considering that like the other AT rifles, it still has to have the damage curve and so on, which just requires more time and thinking.

So yeah, especially with a squad of 9 AT Gunners including the player still showing no successfulness is completely plain unfair for this weapon, even worse but no offence that although you would love to do it, 'but you can't', giving it 2nd chance of having some AT damage

I've tested this weapon against 1 T-26 with an enemy in it with my squad of 8 other Teamates with only Boys AT Rifles in their hands, and the result was no success of disabling the tank even when i also 'hit the weak spots of this tank many times'.

Obviously, i'm not saying that it should do much damage as the Kb Wz 35 and PTRD/S 41 cuz that sounds stupid so you didn't need to talk about these other AT rifles, what i'm most importantly saying is this weapon should have it's AT damage just like it had even before everything about nerfed AT rifles started and should be also obviously less effective than these other AT rifles instead of just doing completely no damage to tanks, Like you said about letting it have some AT damage.

It's because it only does heavy arms, as in real life it wasn't very effective against most tanks past 1942.
The real issue here is that tanks in general just have tank armor (the last level, over heavy arms); if the Boys dealt that damage, it would be as effective as the KbWz35 and almost as effective as the PTRD/S, which it definitely wasn't in real life.
The ideal solution which we can't do, but would love to, is to give it "variable damage", letting it do maybe 200 AT damage and 1500 heavy arms damage, which would make it able to deal with all tanks in theory (very slowly), focusing mainly on lighter vehicles. In reality as i said, we can't do that, so the compromise was giving it heavy arms.

Don't be disappointed though, in kiki's tank mods you will be able to see an image/chart showing armor values for each side of the tank. The weakest areas are usually heavy arms, meaning that if you're a bit accurate, you can do full damage to most of our tanks with this weapon.

I'm dissatisfied of this weapon doing completely no damage to Tanks. One of dissapointing example is this weapon can't deal with T-26 from a brand new WW2 Vehicle mod in contrast to reality that this weapon was popular for Finns cuz it could deal with these tanks. I mean i know Boys Anti-Tank Rifle in reality was notorious for it's ineffectiveness against armor but it doesn't mean it can never do a single damage to tanks and therefore it should still do some damage so i hope this weapon of this mod would retain it's availibility to damage tanks

Dear Producer, It may be a problem with my PC, but as of October 24th, there seems to be an issue where the Mk II scope cannot be used.(I'm using a translator, so I hope I've understood correctly.)

DON'T USE EM AGAINST INFANTRY THEY SAY, WELL, IN THIS PACK THEY PUT IT AS A PRIMARY IN THE MARKSMAN SECTION. SO, THIS IS MORE INFANTRY THAN TANK.

I am somewhat satisfied with this testing. Previous anti-tank guns had the same or greater destructive power as rocket weapons such as bazookas, so there was a sense of disparity.

This is basically a .50 CAL on a bolt action system. The current AT rifle damages are being tested to see how we'll end up leaving them, but this current state is basically an early overcorrection to get people used to lower damages.
The goal is to have them deal these semi-realistic damages, while still making them useful against infantry and light vehicles, but it'll require a lot more tweaking and testing

This gun not only deals lower damage( i dont wanna complain this cuz that was real in ww2) than other anti-tank rifles, but also has slow loading and firing rates. Do you have any thoughts on improving this?

I think the scope variant is MkI* (star) because Boys AT MkI and MkI* has same the length as depicted in this mod while the Mk II version has shorter barrel and was in fact never adopted.

Also the MkI* (Also it has incorrect name of MkII as aforementioned instead of MkI*) has incorrectly T-Shaped Bipod (Which was probably only for MkI version) instead of V-Shaped ones and the scopes for the Boys AT rifles during WW2 was also the thing only for US Marine Raiders when they received MkI* rifles.

Indeed, it's almost literally a .50 cal bullet that was meant to attack pretty much WW1 tanks. By WW2, which is what this is balanced to, it could only really work on light vehicles or unarmored ones (mostly to break engines)

Have I forgotten to praise this amazing mod? GLORIOUSLY well-made. And doesn't one-shot everything in the game as if it's a Delete tool in the editor...

Although, it could EITHER get a *tiny bit of damage buff(like 550? yep)* OR *tiny bit of reload speed increase* - but it's already the most balanced AT Rifle in the game already so it's already good.

A very premium-feeling mod, is this a high-priced commission cuz it feels like it. Just great. 11/10

I agree with dealing panzers, but being unable to disable kubelwagens in medium range makes it almost useless. 600+ damage will be fine.

This is precisely the sort of high-risk/high-reward sniper rifle I've been looking for. I use it exclusively against infantry (props for making it accurately garbage against tanks, by the way). It's super rewarding when I hit, but punishes me *severely* when I miss. Super fun weapon to use.

Fun fact: These were used by the Americans in the pacific against Japanese tanks. This was because Japanese tanks were so weak that the Boys AT Rifle was effective against them. The americans didn't like the Boys much though
