Great map. I'm used to figuring out stuff immediately, but I had to think a lot and trying different approaches. I still don't know why there was a vent sized hole with a grid on in that room with one of the buttons. I finished the map without using it.

The puzzle is pretty cool. I think i lucked out on the orange funnel.
I hate cube stacking. It is a terrible mechanic, not intended.

very well done I am not sure if I did it right. I just stacked the cubes on the secend part and walked through the grill. But anyway very very good.

Really nice chamber. There wasn't a puzzle in it that I didn't have to stop, look at it, scratch my head and think about it before solving it. One of the best out there IMHO. And no ninja BS to make it seem hard.

Challenging indeed. A level of satisfactory upon completion. If you'd find your way back to Portal 2 map making, I'd be happy to play the continuing puzzles.

EDIT: Looked at the vid. Seems I was doing the laser aim thingy all wrong, but due to the difficult test conditions it was too tedious to actually find the right spots, even with that big bulls-eye painted on the wall, I never considered placing a portal there.

Nice test, but there are a few flaws that really need to be worked on. If you quicksave while you stand in the laser field in the room with the movable laser, and you reload, you will keep dying from the laser, if you made the movable laser point at the catcher that deactivates it. The second bug is pretty related. The movable laser is really hard to work with because when you make it look at weird angles you have no idea where you are aiming. If you save and reload, your laser will be reset to the default aim and all work done is gone. This makes it nearly impossible but highly impractical to just test with different angles. I had to give up on that part and just no-clip past that after having the laser reset for the so maniest time.

I don't think a single test chamber in the story mode was as challenging as the second level. It scares me sometimes just how good people are at creating these.

haha, I don't think so. I'm not experienced enough with Hammer to do that ^^ Also atm I'm out of ideas, my creativity is gone :-( Maybe it will come back anytime. But thx for playing and commenting :-)
