oh and i didn't use the panels near the catwalk for anything....
Now I wish I'd kept the demo so I could re-render 😛
The recoloured gel was because you played B-Trip. It doesn't set the gel colour back, and so all maps that use propulsion gel would have the purple shade.
I was often rewarded for browsing, so I kept doing it. Not the fastest playthrough, but that's not always what it's about. The whole not dying->falling bit was an excellent fit for this map, both as a convenience and thematically.
It's the tiniest unit of a shame that recoloring the propulsion was necessary to make it work with the level decor. (And I had just played B-Trip, featuring the same gel color!) The level decor is one of the big selling points, after all.
A few critiques: I didn't really know that button was up there on the platform, and when I activated it by using the cube (which I brought along more from principle than anything) I had no idea what was moving.🙃 I was quite confused.
From there I was able to eventually arrive at the solution (although I cannot help but suspect there are more). I would generally agree that the strength of the level is the exploration and theme, over the light puzzle.
Here is my take on it:

The negative point for me however is the use of a trigger_push to force the player to use the catapult , i don't like the feeling of not having the possibility to do something that could work in another way
That was cool to play, thanks for creating !
