My Grandfather was in the ARVN, and Spades is right. The majority of ARVN soldiers were given plain uniforms. Camo was only used by the rangers, marines, CIDG, and other special forces.

They actually fought along side of the Americans
They lost more men than the Americans
And they didn’t break during the Tet offensive, they fought the communists back with the US army after that
