Hey it works now! Thanks!

So, next try. Found something big and it definitely wasn't just you. I guess it should be fixed now. Thanks a lot again for finding the bug.

Unfortunately, it didn't fix it, but I guess I can just avoid the armor if it's just me. Thanks anyway.

Tried something. Hopefully it'll help.

Okay, found the problem. For some reason, the armor created by the crafting recipe is a armor with a random enchantment (like from the leveled lists for chests and other loot). However, I can't find the problem on my side, since all references in the crafting recipe are to the modified (unenchanted and enchantable) version of the armor. I can only assume that load order somehow mucked up the ref-ids. I'll keep looking.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429007819 Well here's an image of the royal armor not having any description on it.

When I try to craft it, it's invisible in the player inventory but the refid can be seen using the inv console command as seen here

I tried reinstalling the mod and disabling most other mods as well, but still didn't work. Thanks for looking into it though.

Sorry, but I can't find any problem so far.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it.

I am not sure if anyone else is having this bug, but the Vampire Royal Armor seems to have no stats in its item description and does not appear in the player inventory when crafted.

I actually understand, I am not very fond of the dawnguard armors or the regular vampire armor to be honest (And you are right vampire lord armor is awesome, thanks), and since it is not really that hard to get them in game it might not be worth the effort. Although I do like the weapons the dawnguard use (the ax and the hammer), craftable versions of those would be really appreciated. I do like the falmer gear but as mentioned it is not that hard to get in game, I only mentioned it beacuse it would make sense for a "forger" to be able to produce those. Regular crossbows sound like a good idea too, after all the special ones are already quest locked by the game, and regular ones should not be so special that only vampire hunters can use them. To me it is that kind of thing that makes the experience more immersive, again, really appreciate the answer, thanks.
Frankenstein  [author] 13 Feb, 2015 @ 10:22am
The big problem with Falmer gear is it's categorization (Game mechanics stuff) and the chaurus chitin which is a pain to carry. So I left it out so far. My problem with dawnguard gear: There simply is a ton of it. So it would mean a lot of time-investment from my side to add all the recipes. Regular vampire armor is just bad leather armor and it doesn't even look that nice, so I never added it. Vampire LORD armor is added, because it is awesome. :skyelaugh: If you REALLY want that stuff added, I might consider it. I have some free time coming up, so I might sink some time into that... Might even make regular crossbows craftable outside of the Dawnguard.

Great mod! I love the idea of a capable blacksmith being able to replicate weapons and armors he has seen, it makes sense. I love some of these items being "locked" until you do certain missions, and get to see and have those items you want to replicate. Which is why I would love to see the new falmer and vampire gear available, you are right, it is not to hard to get, but it would still make sense RP wise, I think. The falmer gear is already kind of linked with a quest and the vampire should be available from the start, after all those vampire attacks are happening all over right? same with Dawnguard armor and weapons, even if you are a vampire, when you kill a Dawnguard you get your hands on their gear right?, why would you not be able to replicate that? Of course that might just be me getting to deep into role playing. Once again great job on the mod!

Thank you for the suggestion that's also a great mod.

Meanwhile I startet creating my own mod bu thank you anyway :-)
Frankenstein  [author] 26 Jul, 2014 @ 1:58am
@Florian: If you want a good mod that adds great versions of the Dawnguard Armor (Vampire armor is soo boring) then take a look at:

More Material Variants - Dawnguard Edition.

That's not by me, but I really like the idea, the execution and the styles of armor added by that mod.
Frankenstein  [author] 26 Jul, 2014 @ 1:40am
"A comment on the new Falmer Armor, Dawnguard Armor and Vampire Armor which have been added by the DLC: I did'nt add this to the mod, since they are relatively easily obtainable ingame, so making them craftable didn't seem as relevant and not as urgent as the truly unique items. If there are enough requests (4 or 5 x-D ) I'll add them anyway."

Sadly, that's still more or less how I feel. I'll try to add the vampire lord armor, though.
Florider 13 Jul, 2014 @ 10:22am
I'd realy like to have the possibility to "replicate" those armors and weapons. I think it would be a great extention to the game beeing able to craft those fraction based armors and weapons after joining them. For example players using multible followers could craft the armor for their folowers instad of beeing forced to use cheats to get those armors and weapons. I don't know that mutch about modding but maby you could create a second mod for those armors and weapons so everybody would have the possibility to couse if they'd like to have those or not, of cours only if it isn't too mutch work or too difficult. At least the Falmer Armor isn't that important for me becaue as you sad it's not that unique. (I apologize for my bad english)
Thank you for your quick reply
Frankenstein  [author] 13 Jul, 2014 @ 9:39am
Could do, but I felt that most of these armors are easily available and not really that "unique". If you really want it, I can add them, of course.
Florider 13 Jul, 2014 @ 6:47am
Great Mod but please add the Falmer Armor, Dawnguard Armor & Weapons and Vampire Armor
Would be great if you could do so
gam3Br0_86 28 Mar, 2014 @ 12:21pm
oh nice alright thx
Frankenstein  [author] 28 Mar, 2014 @ 12:17pm
Sorry, was away for the week. Are you referring to the "Ancient Falmer Armor"? There should be a "Crown" as a helmet. And I added tempering recipes, so they can be improved.
gam3Br0_86 25 Mar, 2014 @ 11:24pm
mm guessing no helmet to make it a full set of armor?
gam3Br0_86 25 Mar, 2014 @ 11:22pm
im assuming not only can you make them but can u also improve them too?
Knight of Heide 16 Oct, 2013 @ 3:45am
Excellent, thank you.
Frankenstein  [author] 15 Oct, 2013 @ 12:00pm
Added, as promised, right away.
Frankenstein  [author] 15 Oct, 2013 @ 11:37am
Thanks, great idea, will be added right away.
Knight of Heide 15 Oct, 2013 @ 4:23am
Honestly, I hate the enchantments on the Dawnguard Helms and Shields...this should definately be covered by this mod and I will totally sub then! Nice work
Frankenstein  [author] 12 Oct, 2013 @ 1:53am
You can still add the dragonborn edition. The mod only checks wether a quest has been completed, not whether you actually have the item in your inventory - makes a nicer and cleaner mod.
BTW: I found Miraaks loot massively underwhelming. Another reason for the mod. If it looks kick-ass you can at least enchant it so that it really is kick-ass.
Frankenstein  [author] 9 Oct, 2013 @ 9:12pm
I haven't quite finished playing the Dragonborn questline, so as as soon as I'm finished, I will do a Dragonborn one.
Frankenstein  [author] 5 Oct, 2013 @ 8:02am
What forge are you talking about?
jypkmstr 5 Oct, 2013 @ 7:20am
how do we get to the forge?
