As for the upgrades, yeah when the mod is uninstalled and installed, it resets the items to appear either in the shop or your inventory. To my knowledge, every mod that involves items does this.
For the badge seller, if we are talking about the vanilla badge seller. Once the mod is re-enabled, the upgrades should start being cycled through his items that he could sell. Since he only has so much that he can sell at a time, the megarocket sometimes can be for sale, while other times it is not.
I had plans to maybe make the aiming built into all of the weapons. But, never got around to it yet.

I used it as a foundation to start with. And, grew from there.

This would be pretty fun to use but it's also pretty great as-is. Kinda like if the MegaMan 2D gameplay came into 3D, as you still have to jump to change what you're aiming at.
Maybe I'll make my own weapon sometime! It sounds like a cool project.
I tried to take the same aiming and shooting mechanics from the Subcon Mail scooter and import it into at least one of the rocket launchers. It sort-of works. However, it is vary crude and buggy the way I scripted it, but I have no clue where to go from here. I would have to study a bit more on how the game works before I can say it is "good enough" for general use.
If I cannot figure it out, maybe I will finally check out that AHiT Discord channel and see if I can get some outside help from there.
Hopefully, I can add some sort of manual-like aiming to this and future weapons...
The only thing I could ask for is a way to (maybe through configuration) enable aiming upwards and downwards. It'd pair well with an FPS-type mod I found.
