Really likes your mods dude, really cool additions to the game.

When you got updates, can you create a new "IP" for your new version mod pls.
Vlerk  [author] 1 Jul, 2020 @ 2:11pm
All the MP players need to update - start a new game - sorry there is really nothing i can do.
ZheBerg 30 Jun, 2020 @ 5:02pm
MP dosnt give your the option to "forget" the conflict; you re not able to play the saves.
Vlerk  [author] 29 Jun, 2020 @ 1:44pm
This is just a version conflict warning - i have loaded a save game with the same warning and have no problems or crashes.
This mod changes some numbers and does not add new lines or tables so we should be fine.

Hello Vlerk,

Not sure it s moders fault but it seems that when you guys update your mods it breaks saved MP games.

Updated : Now every level increases with 25.

@Vlerk,
But that's just it. If you listen to the morons on the 'bug report' discussion thread, AI don't get cheats. In fact, it's more because we just have to "get gud". *Note the sarcasm*.

But in all seriousness, without this mod, the player stands no chance of winning. Too many times have Paradox games used the 'Cheater AI' package, that just ruins a game that could have been a lot better if they took the time to just make a smarter program. It the same thing that happens in any BugthesdEA game with their use of the 'Bullet Sponge NPC'

@primeambitions Fair point, but i play on normal always.. i don't like the AI gets the *cheats* so no point ramping up the difficulty.
But yes the AI has more energy with this mod just like the player, so expect the game to be somewhat more challenging.
primeambitions 17 Aug, 2019 @ 5:32pm
don't the ai already have more benefits compared to the player? This mod seems like it would just buff them more than us.
Vlerk  [author] 15 Aug, 2019 @ 4:47pm
@acv55555 Yep and that's a good thing, i see the AI expand at about the same pace as i do.
If there is anything i hate is when a AI has 3-4 city's at later game, while i have 10.. then basically the game is over.
acv55555 15 Aug, 2019 @ 10:37am
Fair warning but Energy appears to be the main limiter of AI expansion and activity.

I tested it on beginner and where as on vanilla the AI acts like snails, with more energy it's basically giving them crack and they fill the map pretty fast.

So you better be good at capitalizing on more energy.

Lovely mod, I'm not great at the strategic side of the game but I always, always struggle with energy
Vlerk  [author] 13 Aug, 2019 @ 8:51pm
Your welcome, and thanks for the *feedback* i had a multiplier enabled on level 5 per worker. :steamfacepalm:.
That is indeed to much :steammocking:
And yeah it's an upgrade for the **energy exploitation** so it also benefits the AI.
❗️❗️ Annex ❗️❗ 13 Aug, 2019 @ 7:39pm
Does the AI benefit from this or is it strictly for the player?
❗️❗️ Annex ❗️❗ 13 Aug, 2019 @ 7:32pm
Working fine now! Thanks
Vlerk  [author] 13 Aug, 2019 @ 6:20pm
Okay give it a try and see if there is anything different, can't test myself because i don't have a save with level 5 improvements.

A screenshot of my game so far as a supplement to my prior comment seen here:

@Annex Okay so i can't load your save because i am missing some pre-order content, but this mod i am 99% sure there is nothing wrong with it.
I checked again and there is no reason why you should have 1000's of energy income per turn.

Holy hell if this isnt needed...its been bugging the piss outta me with the current game im in that im barely able to field 2 full armies and a couple scout units (while the Amazons im currently at war with have several) without damn near dipping into the red on energy. Honestly they need to get some balanceing done cause i feel like food is completely out of control while energy upkeep is a damn wall.
Wintermist 13 Aug, 2019 @ 4:51am
Instead of buffing ourselves, is it not possible to remove the AI bonuses?
Wandering Mania 12 Aug, 2019 @ 3:06pm
@Vlerk,
Exactly. The devs took the 'lazy man's option' for difficulty. Give the AI tonnes of buffs, and call it "Difficult". When all it really is, is 'Here play against a bunch of cheaters, because that's fun. Right?". Or as EA would say: "It's not 'cheater AI'. It's surprise losses."
Vlerk  [author] 12 Aug, 2019 @ 2:36pm
@Wandering Mania Yeah the first thing i noticed, there very little energy to sustain a low tier army and in the campaign it got worse after 50+ turns.
It was the same in AoW3 where i made a *unit upkeep* mod and made the game just more fun with the AI taking advantage of the lower upkeep also.
This game is slow when recruiting and doing buildings at the same time, so the last thing you want is to have no funds for armies :steamfacepalm:
Wandering Mania 12 Aug, 2019 @ 12:25pm
This is a problem with the base game* that had to be fixed by a mod? The devs really need to fix the balancing. A must have mod though, thanks for the work/upload.

I'll give it a try would be fun to actually have armies.
Juz 11 Aug, 2019 @ 3:48pm
That's a huge increase! I have issues with energy too but mostly because population and Military buildings have so much damn upkeep. Plus growth is kind of limited by the happiness buildings. I made a mod called Economic Stimulus to try and fix this for me. You might be swimming in energy with this level of increase!
happyfungi 11 Aug, 2019 @ 12:13pm
I agree. I have game going where I have 10 cities but only about 35 units mostly tier 1.

Has the way energy is valued in diplomacy been scaled as well? This would be so easy to exploit if not.

If so I will begin using this my next play through.
