I mean, look at all the current popular creations on the workshop homepage of BR and they all have well made thumbnails rather than some random screenshot. So I would expect there to be at least some correlation between them. Plus having a good thumbnail shows that the creator went through the effort of creating a good thumbnail so there is a higher chance of the creation being good as well.

Surely, since it looks more attractive and appealing at first glance.

would you say that your creation is way more likely to get put at the top where this one is now if it has a custom thumbnail?
