What is the health of the jail wall?

No worries, I’ll remove my version now :)
Vaileasys  [author] 9 Mar, 2020 @ 12:13am
Sorry for the delay. I've gone ahead and fixed that, I had that left over from a test version.
Thanks pvt. Babaganush for basically fixing it for me.

Bump. I uploaded a fixed version to the workshop, I just removed the final line of the mod, info file.
15+ Cans of Beet Soups 23 Feb, 2020 @ 2:23am
I can send you my INI if you want to see what I mean.

My suggestion is delete the See Also section / Fix the link in the hyperlink, it should fix the mod format.

Hey Vaileasys - I'm also having the same issue as Vellsigh.

When adding this mod to a server via the workshop. It inputs the following into the ini file:

Mods= • url=https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?1783799390 ]Improved Maps[/url

This is not fixed by adding the ID to either the Steam Workshop or Mods tab

I think this this has something to do with your link "Improved Maps" in the post above. It links back to this very post instead of another workshop item. Change or delete that and it might fix things up.
Fuyuno 25 Jan, 2020 @ 3:15am
the link for 'improved maps' leads to this listing

I've just uploaded a version specifically for build 41, this should hopefully fix some issues that have unfortunately occurred while trying to stay compatible with both build 40 and 41.

so why is that the mod doesn't detect the materials needed to build if they are in the backpack, so far only happens when building a wall frame and the trying to build the wall
Vaileasys  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 1:35am
I've just released an update that should fix the incompatibilities with build 41. Still having an issue with the sledgehammers. This mod only identifies one of the sledgehammers.
Vaileasys  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 1:33am
I'm not sure what the issue is that you're having. For the Steam Workshop tab, should just need to type in the workshop ID (1832608432). Otherwise in the mod tab, type in the mod ID (improvedbuildmenu).
You don't need to add it to both the Steam Workshop and Mods tabs. Just add it to the Steam Workshop one. The "url" just directs to the workshop page.
Vellsigh 1 Jan, 2020 @ 9:28pm
Can this mod be used in multiplayer?
I'm having problems with the mod ID in the server config, it's appears like a "[url", meanwhile the Workshop ID works perfectly.

could you add metal barrels (already in the game -> Metal Drums) to be added into metal working recipes to be available as alternatives for the wooden rain collector barrels ?

thank you. great work btw.
Vaileasys  [author] 20 Dec, 2019 @ 6:36am
Thanks for letting me know. I won't have a chance to take a look at it for a couple of days. Regardless, it should (hopefully) be an easy fix.
Maravone 19 Dec, 2019 @ 5:31pm
Seems like the latest Build 41 update broke the mod completely. Cant build anything carpentry related because it doesnt recognize hammers in the recipe.

Its a wonderful mod, really deserves praise regardless! Hopefully, it'll be an easy update and fix?

@hi117 I'm unfamiliar with Linux and the difference between running on Windows and Linux.

On Windows, a console.txt is located in a "Zomboid" folder. If i can see that 'after' getting the errors, I might be able to see what's happening.
hi117 10 Nov, 2019 @ 7:52am
Hey,

I am running on Linux and the mod disables itself after enabling. I am running PZ 40.43. On lua reload, it throws some errors, but I am unsure how to see what the errors are.

Generally mod incompatabilities like this are caused by Linux being case sensitive.
Lord of Cats 29 Oct, 2019 @ 9:59am
I can also confirm that I was having that destroy bug with your mod, the character approaches the object and then just plays walking sounds next to it.
Vaileasys  [author] 24 Oct, 2019 @ 9:30pm
Okay thank you. I'll take a look at it over the weekend, and hopefully find a way to be compatible with both 40 and 41.
Skay24 24 Oct, 2019 @ 9:00pm
I check it several times and on build 41 the "destroy" option will not work. I can't destroy any objects in the game. The character just stands there.
Vaileasys  [author] 24 Oct, 2019 @ 6:40pm
@skay24 it works fine with more builds, but there might be some compatibility issues with unbreakable metal walls, although I'm not sure.
Skay24 24 Oct, 2019 @ 7:15am
hi, will this mod work with More builds mod, and Unbreakable Metal Walls v1.3 mod???.
Ro-Z 21 Oct, 2019 @ 8:13pm
this is really essential, I'm glad it works with the recent version.
Vaileasys  [author] 20 Oct, 2019 @ 4:53am
Improved Build Menu has just been updated to version 1.1.1. I had a few issues with uploading it to the workshop correctly, however it's fixed now.
Vaileasys  [author] 14 Oct, 2019 @ 6:58am
Ah yeah, sorry you're right. I forgot how I had it. I might look into it when I get around to getting the new version working.
Tet 14 Oct, 2019 @ 6:41am
there is no knob needed in the recipe. Or it is particular server setting ?
Vaileasys  [author] 14 Oct, 2019 @ 6:24am
@Tet it uses the same system as crafting wooden doors, so it 'should', although I haven't tested it. Should just need to get the correct doorknob and key
Tet 14 Oct, 2019 @ 5:15am
great mod. a question, can we lock the metal jail door ?
FuDicMoth 9 Oct, 2019 @ 7:52pm
Thank U~
Vaileasys  [author] 9 Oct, 2019 @ 5:52pm
I can't test it at the moment. Something must've gone wrong in the update. So I've reverted the update for the time being and will take a closer look at the update when I can.
FuDicMoth 9 Oct, 2019 @ 8:26am
updated~plz~~~
FuDicMoth 9 Oct, 2019 @ 8:18am
Mod can't load now, sir:cozyjunimogreen:
Hershcream 8 Oct, 2019 @ 9:37pm
Will not stay enabled?
Vaileasys  [author] 7 Oct, 2019 @ 7:26am
@Kohanis, thanks, I had overlooked that. I've fixed it in the latest update that should be live now.
Kohanis 27 Sep, 2019 @ 5:10am
Large Rain Collector still needed 4 garbage bags, u need to change onCreateBarrel to like onCreateSmallBarrel and onCreateLagreBarrel
Vaileasys  [author] 2 Sep, 2019 @ 1:52am
@stainz, thanks for the feedback. I've got a new version coming that should improve compatibility significantly.

As for the high single wire gate, I can't find any variant already in the game, meaning it'd require a new sprite to be made. But, I have added a wooden single high gate for the next update.
stainzthedog 1 Sep, 2019 @ 8:38am
@ Vaileasys,

It seems that for whatever reason, I had to remove the mod and then download it again for it to work, not just disable and then re-enable as stated.

I'm not saying it has anything to do with this mod as I run about 80 mods and or modded mods, so the game could have burped somewhere during loading.

Anyways... this mod does work flawlessly along side More Build and whatever other building mods I use.

On a side note:
Is it possible to add a High Wire Fence Gate? A single door version. Unlike the High DoubleWire Gate shipped with the game. I honestly can't remember ever seeing one.
Vaileasys  [author] 1 Sep, 2019 @ 1:01am
@PrincessJemKat more build mod shouldn't be incompatible. I've tested that one and it worked fine with this mod.
JessiiiKat 31 Aug, 2019 @ 9:22pm
More build mod incompatible? Wahhhh
Armorguy1 25 Aug, 2019 @ 5:49pm
@Vaileasys: Great, the mod works like a charm btw! :)
stainzthedog 25 Aug, 2019 @ 7:03am
It's a shame that this can not be used along side of the More Build mod. But you still get a thumbs up regardless.
Vaileasys  [author] 22 Aug, 2019 @ 10:29pm
@Armorguy1 thanks I've looked into it and it should be compatible with this mod.
(To post screenshots you can just paste the steam link to the screenshot, and make sure it's public)
Armorguy1 22 Aug, 2019 @ 10:02am
@Vaileasys: Craft helper has it's own independant "list" of what an object could potentially be used for. It seems to be contained in it's own menu. I haven't messed with .lua yet so I have no idea how it works. But I hope that helps you a bit better? (somehow lol). Can you put screenshots in comments? I would love to post a picture of it on here to give you a better idea about it.
Redeye 20 Aug, 2019 @ 4:41pm
I hope the devs see this and implement this is awesome man
CandyHawthorn 20 Aug, 2019 @ 10:18am
Nice
Vaileasys  [author] 20 Aug, 2019 @ 10:03am
@Armorguy1 if they add menus, they should be fine. This only changes the current carpentry/metalworking menus.

I'm not familiar with hydrocraft's code (far too much to look through). I'll take a look at craft helper when I get the chance.
Armorguy1 20 Aug, 2019 @ 7:46am
Is this compatible with craft helper and hydrocraft? They both add new menus. Just not into carpentry and metalworking. So I guess they should be compatible?
GigelVitturo 19 Aug, 2019 @ 7:20am
Oh, now I see what you mean, sorry for that. It seems the mod "Blacksmith" by soulfilcher isn't compatible with this one and was causing the issues. I unsubscribed from the blacksmithing mod and everything seems to be back in working order! Thanks for the help.
Vaileasys  [author] 19 Aug, 2019 @ 5:46am
I've hopefully fixed the tooltip/description issue.

The issue with not being able to build certain objects seems to be a mod conflict/load order issue, even without having any other mod activated. This mod overrides 'ISBuildMenu.lua' and 'ISBlacksmithMenu.lua', so if other mods are loaded after this mod that also override those files, then some of the functionality will not work correctly. Deactivating them will NOT fix the issue. This mod will also need to be deactivated, then reactivated.

I'd be happy to list any mods in the description that are known to interfere with this mod, if anyone knows, specifically.
