@Thez: While not always the case, terrible games tend to inexplicibly have some of the best soundtracks, it seems.
Thez 9 Mar, 2023 @ 4:33am
Damn, such a waste of a good soundtrack haha, thanks for info and for the mod haha. At least I can enjoy it in starbound
Azure Fang  [author] 8 Mar, 2023 @ 11:49pm
Sadly, it only comes with the special edition of the game.
Thez 8 Mar, 2023 @ 11:24pm
Hey uhm, can I ask you if you could maybe send me a link to the soundtrack if it’s available on something like Spotify or soundcloud, or if it’s not can you tell me how you got the tracks, I genuinely love the soundtrack but I can’t find it anywhere

it's ok, it's perfect, much appreciated your attention. :D

Done and released. Didn't do extensive testing, as I don't have the time, but the templates I use are solid. If you have any trouble, be sure to let me know on the proper mod page.

it will be really cool to play listening to SoL🤗
Ashtar 12 Dec, 2021 @ 8:08pm
@Azure Fang
oh my... 🥰🤩
it's amazing thank you so much for your time, i'm sure it will be used very well

Thank you again❤️
Azure Fang  [author] 12 Dec, 2021 @ 5:57pm
Update: SoL's music is in raw OGGs, so it's perfectly possible. I'll start listening through the music and see where I can justify fitting the tracks.
Azure Fang  [author] 12 Dec, 2021 @ 5:11pm
@Ashtar
You're lucky I own SoL. I'll take a look at how the assets are packed. It might not have the music stored in an extractable format, but if it does I'll look into it.
Ashtar 12 Dec, 2021 @ 1:53pm
@Azure Fang
Can make a pack of (Signs of life) too?
This game have a beautiful music's

Please 🙏🏻
And thank you for this mod ❤️

Very well. Added a quick link in the description here.

Alright! I did end up using your animation because I'm still pretty new to modding, but I edited the sprites to make them customized! Thank you for your help with the sprite editing program, and when I can make animations on my own I will (most likely) update them as well! Credited you for them in the description

Ah alright, I did use it for a personal mod but I won't upload it until I create my own clubdecks sprite. Thank you for the speedy response, and the sprite program!

@Depresso Espresso
I'm not sure that I have the right to stop you considering the art is a manipulation of core Starbound sprites for the club deck and penguin race, but I would prefer if you didn't.

If you decide to use the sprite, please do give me credit and drop me a link to the mod in the comments; I'll link your mod in this mod's description to give you a little more cross-exposure.

If you decide not to use the sprite but want to toy around with creating sprites yourself, I use Aseprite [www.aseprite.org], an easy to learn and easy to use yet really powerful spriting tool; if you don't want to pay for it, the developers are kind enough to give away the final pre-release version for free here [www.aseprite.org].

Hey man, do you mind if I use the penguin dj for a jukebox mod I'm making? I'll be sure to credit you.

Love the mod btw! :lilimok:

@The_Terrarian: I still 'love' when Edge of Space had a decent UI that let you quickly work out what each element of it was, then for no good reason they changed it to a simpler, archaic one that had i not played it prior to the update, i genuinely would have no idea what the fuck the new one's elements represented. :p

Because that oh-so-totally was the only problem with the game. Yup. Let's go with that.
.... Mostly so we can try and forget the game existed as much as possible.

"Edge of Space was an abhorrent failure of a game. It had some potential, but was ruined by a premature launch, no follow-up development, creative drama, developer drama, the mistake of expecting early access sales to fund development, and being "Terraria In Space" in development at the exact same time as Starbound."
And, they had no tutorials.
namelessclone 19 Aug, 2019 @ 12:09pm
Ok, thanks for the replies, I'll back it up just in case.
PrelawGunmir 19 Aug, 2019 @ 11:24am
yeah, but i'm not backing up the mod
Azure Fang  [author] 19 Aug, 2019 @ 11:18am
@PrelawGunmir
If you're just backing up the mod in case it gets removed, unpacking is unnecessary. Just copy the content.pak out of it's workshop folder and rename it. Still works fine.
PrelawGunmir 19 Aug, 2019 @ 9:41am
@namelessclone, just unpack the mod if you're worried about that
Azure Fang  [author] 19 Aug, 2019 @ 7:59am
@namelessclone
Considering the number of similar mods that have never had trouble (the NieR: Automata OST mod immediately springs to mind), I'm not worried enough.
namelessclone 19 Aug, 2019 @ 4:07am
Could you make it available as a non-Steam download? I'm kinda afraid it could be taken down due to copyright claims/DMCA..
PrelawGunmir 18 Aug, 2019 @ 11:12pm
"Edge of Space was an abhorrent failure of a game"

I over-agree with you.
Solzucht 17 Aug, 2019 @ 9:48am
