Any stored food goes bad in a while, so mod doesn't work as intended

Hi hi I just notice a little bug with Freezer.
I'm playing in DS. While playing the freezer seems to work normally as intended. While opening the Freezer, it start rotting as @ shtornovi said.
However I got a large stack of meat, monster meat Dragon fruit and berries inside the Freezer, then I went down into the cave for a while. When I come up I have a few large pile of Rot inside my Freezer.
It seems that if you go to another map the freezer stop working completely.

The ice spawning doesn't work in Hamlet, because of an accidental double-check for REIGN_OF_GIANTS in freezer.lua, where one of those checks should be for the Hamlet tag.

I would really appreciate it if you considered my other suggestion below, to make our mods compatible. I have included the full code you can copy/paste into your mod. It's a very small change, and I know that users of both our mods would be very happy to be able to use them properly together. As would I, to be honest :D

Hey afro! If you change your spawnice function to this, then it won't crash with my Auto Stack mod: https://pastebin.com/6zXR9XQu
It's due to my mod stacking your ice in the first frame after they've been spawned, but you wait 1.5 seconds before you set their position and throw them out of the freezer. I just moved the spawning of the ice entities down to the same place as you position and throw them. Then Auto Stack can properly stack them, so they will bounce out as one.

Just confirmed, i waited by the ice box and as soon as it tried to spawn ice the game crashed. Looking to see if this has anything to do with the auto stack mod im also using

+1 to what wiwka said, my game crashes from time to time and it seems like it's related to the ice producing (RoG). In the normal DS it doesn't crash but it seems that something is happening with RoG that causes a crash.

Great mod, the image is similar to what we would have in the game, so it doesn't stand out. Possibility to modify the recipe is always a great plus.
I would have a suggestion - this ice producing feature, or at least the animation, should be optional too. I have a feeling that it is crashing my game. I am using other mods of course too, but it seems to have a problem with this ice, the game crashes usually as it tries to make an autosave. May I send you logs in PM?

Wow, this mod is so awesome! I read comments and i got the answer of my question.

I used it and found the food is still spoiling slowly. It turns out that the food will rot when the refrigerator is opened.

this mod is good but the art doesnt look very good (The freezer item) i think it could be updated for better look (I.e. use ice box pattern instead of plain white)

just a suggestion can you add a Dial to it? like setting that allow you to prevent spoilage at 2x the Ice box then 3 times and then a No Spoil Setting? just an idea im thinking about.

Maybe it was because I was on wormwood? im not sure if that would make any sort of difference but I was playing RoG with Hamlet as wormwood and noticed I couldn't use cellar or freezer

When using this mod in Shipwrecked, equipping the obsidian machete crashes the game. I have a dozen other mods installed, but when I disable this one, I can equip it just fine, without the crash. This is an odd bug, but I thought might just point it out.

Equipped Obsidian axe, and crashed. I had been using the axe constantly prior to installing this mod with no problems. installed this mod, and crash upon equip. Pretty dead certain it's this mod.

It happened the moment I equipped an Obsidian Axe in Shipwrecked.
This mod is awesome, and I'd rather use the freezer than an Obsidian Axe, but still, it'd be nicer if I could do both. =)

pbc03434 Perishable mod shouldn't affect this one at all. With the last update I simplified the code. When your game is loaded or the freezer is shut spoilage stops.

The freezer was working normally for a while.... however, inner meat began to putrefy suddenly.
This mod may have conflicted with other mods.
(How is the affinity of this mod and Perishable v2.1?)

I did not "leave the lid open". The lid closes when the light goes out, yes?
