Great mod but i keep crashing every time i get near that faction and pop one or two tiny craft because they rammed me. looked at the logs there's no errors. nothing that could suggest a crash occurred but the game locked up and then turned off. Any suggestions on what i could do to fix that? id love to play them but im worried i might never really get to play with them if i keep crashing every 15 min.

Honestly this mod keeps on crashing on me so I'mma just worry about it later if it gets updated or something. Idk but the ships are beautiful, I really enjoyed building in this mod and kinda just excepted the building issues I'd have where things would jump around and wouldn't all line up and just worked with it till I got what I want.

my apologies, i had assumed you meant my other issues rather than this one. hopefully it does get patched later though. either way though the mod is definitely a fun mod, and it does look really cool, but it seems a lot of its power is late-game while being fairly fragile early game. was this the intention? if so then that would clear up a lot of my issues.

though again, this is what i was bug-reporting about most.
"Volatile inferno Beam: Upon unlocking it and placing it on a ship, that ship is now [LOCKED] stating that i need to unlock volatile inferno beam, nothing i do seems to bypass this."

Though from what i cant tell via the use of baiting enemies towards the Helheim stations, the t2 shield seems to be more on-par for what is average for t2 shields.

Upon further testing the shields do not, infact, have an issue where things go through them, instead its that the t1 shields pop very quickly against any weapons of t2 or higher and fast-ish against t1. haven't had many chances to test t2 yet.

and yes, while there are some nice Niche blocks, there are many that make it tricky to set up larger scale detailed builds that don't just fall right into the same designs that are there already. its good but sometimes t is annoying how i cant mix and match the parts a bit to make my own theme based off them.

i want to comment a response to the whole "cakewalk" comment, but all i can say that likely won't make one of us look like assholes is that that is not what i said, what i said was this faction gets melted by a good chunk of the vanilla factions, barring this factions absolute top-tier capitals, except those capitals are far more expensive than the equal power vanilla capitals. in a point cost battle these will almost always lose. they have no strengths and what they do well is normally out-classed by one or more vanilla factions.

As for some blocks not lining up, wowie has a variety of vanilla shapes with niche but useful cosmetic uses that won't tile correctly on a large scale, like the small rectangles and the narrow isotri triangles

Having projectiles ignore shields can be a result of a low physics update per second setting. If your system can run it, I suggest raising it to at least 75, but the higher the better

for instance if I place to slopes with the points facing creating a straight line, the 2 connector points near the tips wont line up to a cube connection.

also, some blocks don't line up correctly making large scale builds difficult without some trickery and the Aura rectangle seems to never stay unlocked in the upgrade menu despite still having it, it just allows me to pay the 0cp again but i never actually lose the block in the build menu.

the reason i say this is because most of the other vanilla factions even seem to one-up them in any given category. Even the reds have sheer cost efficiency on them, due to their high damage output for low cost despite glass armor. and that is saying nothing about modded factions which even at the low-tier ends of the spectrum will melt everything but the factions capital ships.

I would also like to say, their shields are weak, many things will just ignore and pass through them without even hitting the shield, their armor is also fairly mediocre, yet their weapons at low-mid tier are not powerful enough to make up for this. Their higher tier ships are cost prohibitive in their nature making the whole thing seem either to low quality for the cost or too costly for the quality

you need the reassembly beta to run the mod
to activate the beta you need to:
-right click on reassembly through steam
-go to properties
-go to betas
-select the beta

except density=n is calculated via block area and it literally doesnt matter, it doesn't affect your speed or agility at all

I think a more apt description of the Frost Lance is "Concentrates runic energy to accelerate a shard of ice at extreme speeds, obliterating matter the shard comes in contact with."

I don't think the Runic Aura should have mass. It's invisible, and as far as I know, intangible.

Nah, I was just flying around trying to blow things up. If it helps, it happened when I was using the flare weapon and the ice barrage weapon. Though maybe the issue was from not doing the rune fix.

Well, I can't remember what it said entirely, but it was an invalid read to 0x0000004. Pretty sure that's what it was.
