u have a disadvantage in mobility (even war armors r faster) but with all the extra weapons jetpack shield etc ofc there should be some penalties. the vanilla extra heavay weapons work for mod weapons i dont know but think u can add it in the config if u know what to do :D

Does the Metion armor count as a heavy weapons platform for purposes of RPGO's heavy weapons penalty? I.e., does it act like the W.A.R. suit does and cap aim at 90 and mobility at 20 when equipped? If not, is there a way to add that in a config file or something?

Just made this but when i put ANY kind of armour on my loadouts, none of my armours show the soldIer just stays looking the same , Any ideas, am using unrestricted customisation?

I wish there was a button to completely disable the cosmetics.
The sliders are buggy so I frequently get rookies with Metion heads.

Sorry about the complaint last month, It seems the Metion Jump jet works now after I have installed XCOM 2: Reinforcement Pack DLC. Maybe that is something to consider.

I love your mod but there is one issue I have, its the jetpack command that does not work properly . After select the command it does not give me the option to select location. This there any ways to fix this.

Hey man, love your work on this armor. Quick question; What do you think of Starcraft's CMC Powered Armor/Suit? The one that Marines always use? I am a fan of those armor designs, but so far in XCOM2's workshop, there are little to zero content for Starcraft's based mods. Mayhaps you can give it a shot, making a CMC Armor for XCOM2?

I can confirm that, while the Armory does not show the Metion Battlesuit as providing health or armor, it does, in fact, provide a good chunk of both. Though it would be nice for the armory to display such.

hello there, I installed the mod mid campaign so maybe thats the issue but I wanted to let you know anyway in case you can do something about it.
I finally build the suit (damn that thing took long to build) but it doesnt show any health bonus nor armor even once equiped my soldier still shows 9+1 (health bonus for heavy armor breakthrough) and 0 Armor. is this just a visual bug? Im at a point where putting my soldier without armor out there would be quite the suicide mission^^"

I am going to be perfectly honest here. The suits are tanky as hell and satisfying to use, and the reduction to mobility is offset by the jetpack. There are, however, a couple issues in my opinion. For one, I think that the amount of firepower these things add is rather low for how many other options you lose with that mobility. Don't get me wrong, the speed is fine, but maybe add some utility to the weapons other than "1 action AoE." The minigun seems to be a worse version of the shredder gun. The missiles seem to be fine. The rocket knee seems to be next to useless for me considering that I can never get close to the enemy with the armor on. Not to tell you how to do your job, but maybe the knee could be removed in favor of a weaker bladestorm-esque ability like the custodians have? Past all this, however, This is a lot of fun. Being able to walk into an enemy base and open fire as Bradford counts off how many violations of the Geneva convention just occured is a blast.

Works like a charm! Now I just need more alloys, elerium and cores so I can arm my whole A team with these incredible armor and strike fear into the hearts of those alien scum! XD

@Snip3s: Right now custodians are not required, this is a standalone mod. Later there will be a combined mod with enemies and the armor, and THEN you will have to kill custodians to get the armor.

this armor isnt a stat booster right now it only gives +2 hp and +1 armor XD

Suggestion: Add a custom variant that looks like XCOM 2012's Titan Armor. Been mixing armors together and this seems to be one of the best looking options.

Also anybody know the names of the weapon projectiles? I'd like to use them in the Skin replacer.

Loving the mod so far, lots of fun blowing up aliens. Only one problem: whenever I use the jetpack I just get jumped to a seemingly random location on the map? The first click of the ability doesn't bring up any way to select the square I'd like to go to, and the second click just jetpacks me halfway across the map seemingly at random. Anyone else experience this? Any fixes? Awesome mod otherwise!

As I said, the suits are fantastic. Theres only one thing I would change: Theyre so big and heavy, they should make the sound the berserker armor makes, when the soldier that wears it runs. These booming footsteps. That would be awesome. Maybe you consider it at some point. Apart from that theyre perfect.

I have to to tell you, Claus....those suits are awesome. Just awesome. They look fantastic and I just had the most epic battle between my squad of 7, with three grenadiers, all equipped with metion suits, vs 3 exalted custodians and (sadly, or luckily haha) other pods that joined the fight, a standard gatekeeper and a few vanators. If they hadnt joined the fight it wouldnt have been such an epic fight over 4 turns. And in the end, i placed one of the grenadiers in that suit in front of my squad, behind half cover and activated the shield, and even though the grenadier almost died, the shield saved him.

The suits would be op if you dont have stuff like exalted custodians or angry sectopods in there. Mostly those exalted custodians though. Theyre the only ones that present some challenge in endgame and they justify fielding those battle suits. Fantastic job on the suits and the custodians.

The suit doesn't seem to change the look of my soldiers. The skills all function correctly but the animations are missing. Any idea why?

It seems that the problem only occurs in the soldier screen, as I get a soldier with 2 armor in battle (as well as +8 or so HP)

Would it be possible to use Icarus Armor or Spark animations for the Metion suit via ini files? I know you want to minimize the requirements but it would look better.

@akira_gee First make sure the mod is actually downloaded and active in the launcher. Steam is acting up a alot lately and workshop's subscribe/download system is a mess, always has been.

As for console commands, it's the same as for any mod that adds items. If you're not sure about it's name, go into the mod's folder, src and dig deeper until you find the UC files. They can be opened with Notepad++. The strategy file usually has the code for adding the item in your inventory after research. In this case it's something like:

// Randomized Item Rewards
Template.ItemRewards.AddItem('MetionBattleSuit');

So the item's name is MetionBattleSuit. Additem MetionBattleSuit should do the trick for you.

so because i couldnt test the mod, i spent most of the play through, getting Powered Armor, Andromedon and Sectopod research done to find out the mods not even working for me. i am using alot of mods (80) but i spend alot of time making sure they all work. so this mod isnt working for me sadly. if you able to make a command code for getting the suit please post it. looking forward to using this mod one day
