Is it supposed to go dark after I pass the door on the adhesion gel part? Is it supposed to actually be a trip? It looks like a bad trip from drugs

I had issues with the Adhesion gel part because the portal magnet on the angled panel isn't aligned correctly with the gel bombs. It could also be that the gel dropper is not aligned with the panel. Either way, I couldn't portal the Adhesion gel anywhere due to this.

I get why this mechanic wasn't implemented in the official Portal 2 from Tag: The Power of Paint because playtesters were feeling motion sickness but why didn't Valve expand the idea with portals in a separate game and have a full disclosure about the potential barriers to play that game, like VR. Of course the game would be niche compared to Portal 2, but hey, it just make me wonder what kind of maps Valve had cooking with this mechanic. It's now up to the fans to reconstruct how the mechanic would work in Source engine and create puzzles with adhesion gel.

So the "solution" is to go through the second exit, and then exit the game because the exit doesn't do anything ? Yeah, you guess right : it's not obvious.

Thx for the video, Instantiation! The sole purpose of the map was to have the new gel, and given the limitations of the mechanic, Repulsion gel was the only option for the intro chamber. I tried not to make the solution too obvious, and it looks like my guesswork is about right

The solution is far enough 'out there' to be novel without feeling like I did it by accident or because there was nothing else to be done.
