when you say "Some items will be removed" do you mean if the player has collected those items, they will be removed from inventory? do they get the items back after the ambush ends?

By removed, do you mean you removed the items once you activate the challenge, or are they just removed from the item pool entirely?

AHA!
I found a loophole: cursed eye, which is an item that teleports you when you take damage charge the shots, as it's a passive charge item
