This ship has all the amenities that I needed, and room to shuffle things around if you need to change things up somehow. I also have had a few moments returning to my ship with the sun rising over the barren landscape, where I just had to stop and admire the lines of this great looking ship! Hi Robert Allen, thank you! I am glad you enjoy the ship and can customize it to your liking! I like to put the Hull Shield upside down in the 9x9 glass area in front of the Warp Drive, on the circle with the X in it. Have fun!

Been adding some systems to the one i made off your BP thanks for the great ship it will handle my needs till the Supper carrier is ready

Added Gravity Generator
Took out the bunk bed
removed the shower and rest room
added the repair station for gear
changed the flight chairs up and deco on the flight deck
trying to add the repair bay but that might not work
added 6 sentry guns all under the ship
added 2 150mm rocket launchers under and rear
added 2 more none retractable projectile cannons
Looking to see about making them auto fire on enemy
Still changing up some of the ship i will post once i think i have it my way

Thanks a lot. But without oxygen and grow lights, the plants wont grow but they won't actually die. At least that is the case on a base on a planet with no oxygen. What the plants die from is heat/cold. No worries, I was just trying to work out why the ship 'vents' when there is no power, maybe it is down to the doors losing their blue force field when the power is down. I don't mean this is a failing of your ship, they probably all do it! Anyways, sorry to hijack the comments. I have now been using this ship and it really is amazing, thanks again!

Hi Melael! Thanks for the kind words and welcome to the game! Yes, the ship is air tight and there are some game mechanics that you might not yet be aware of. To grow plants on any air tight ship you will need to have oxygen loaded into the ship and the oxygen ventilators and the grow lights powered on ALWAYS so your plants will grow, both on a planet AND in space. In the Control Panel under the Main category you will need the Power and Oxygen switched to ON / Green and Lights ON (lights switch can be Amber/Middle as long as the pink grow lights are on). You can safely shut down Thrusters, Turrets, Constructor and Food Processor / all switches under the CUSTOM and SIGNALS category to save power if you like. Also if you are new to the game, be aware that the Ganymede G5 is more of a starter ship/mobile base than a Combat Steel/Offensive ship. While it has defensive Cannon Turrets I wouldn't go attacking the Zirax bases with it. That is for HVs and SVs. HAVE FUN!

I love this it looks so great! One question. Should it not be airtight without power? Not for oxygen I don't mean. But just so it protects from the elements. This could be me being a newb, this is my first CV. I powered down to save power and all my plants died lol. I went into debug menu with 'N' to try and see where the leak was and couldn't find one, and it's airtight with power so I suspect its just me being stoopid.
