Oh, I found this addon that fixes the cubemaps in the map. Will be great if u included it in the required or something.

Well then, thank you! I love this map, and I will try to solve it, cscheater.era.ee is a program to download the game content and the map from the games, but I see, that I have to have HL2 In my steam desktop for having everything working. Thank you, pal!

@Salva, I don't have any experience with that sort of thing, but assuming you have everything correctly installed it should work. Make sure at the bottom right in the menu with the controller button that HL2 EP2 is checked and mounted. Otherwise, I'm not sure how to help, you may need to look it up on google or on a forum, sorry.

The rocket is its normal size, and findable without noclip in the map.

Could you re-release this map with the EP2 textures included in the bsp?
I do have EP2, but most gmod players don't. Map looks amazing, so it should have more than 3k subscribers imo.. But I'm guessing the required EP2 has a lot to do with that.

I used HL2 Episode 2 as the texture base for this map.

Did you make this map using CS:S Textures or HL2 textures? Because I want to learn how to map for my own Server. I don`t want to blame you with my question, but I would hiighly appreciate if you could tell me the game you used to create this map. I already watched the tutourials, but no one showed me to make an good sandbox map with game textures.

when I typed in "buildcubemaps" as suggested below, "maps/gm_shadypeak.bsp is not writable!!! Check it out before running buildcubemaps", so still have the brightness problem
Also can't spawn NPCs anywhere but grass... great map otherwise

It's most likely my own fault of the map. I'm guessing it's the cubemaps. If you feel like going through the trouble, load the map, type 'buildcubemaps' in the console and wait a few moments, then reload the map if it doesn't already. I may try to look more into it if I get a chance. (The problem doesn't happen to me when I've loaded the map before)

This is my favorite map ever, so yall did a great job!

Tudor, you may need to make sure EP 2 is able to run (if you haven't ran it in a while, it'll ask you to convert if you havent already); or you may need to verify the cache. If that's not the problem, make sure it's mounted into GMod (where you will need to restart for it to take effect). If neither of those are the problem, and you're able to run other EP 2 maps with no problem, I have absolutely no idea...
