well, you can try at put a third player, i guess in slot 3, , not sure who has the tc up there anymore, but there is not triggers for those since they are meant to do nothing, whoever plays as green can get to titan age, if they have time f course

Do you have the mod and the dlc? i´m not sure if the escription changed for you, it didn´t for me after updating it, but p6 and p9 are on team 2 now, also p6 is Set, not Poseidon, ow, and both players must have the map mod enabled, try these and tell me if it worked :D

how do I select the map when setting up the game? I only see the usual maps. I already checked that I had the mod active.

Hmm, that implys that steam ain´t automaticly downloading the new updates to the maps i think, maybe because the name still the same, so it thinks it´s the same archieve?

I have encountered the same problem as a lot of people. Doing the settings right and then the host ending up with a black screen and the 2nd player goes back to the main menu.

I however found the problem. It seems that the versions of the map don't match. Have the 2nd player download the map in the lobby. They should still have New Units downloaded an activated, but they should not have subscribed to the scenario.

I hope this helps other people play this amazing project!

it does have an external server, but it ain´t the best, the maintenance isn´t very high their list i think(for this game at least), so the lag is increased, wich is very bad for a map that requires better connection.

i will try different stuff with the internet connection later because i know that my pc has some problems with that.
I thought the Online option of AoM:EE uses external servers to connect to other players?
I would really like to play the maps because of the announced Retold Hype :D

also, do you have the chinese expansion? sometimes it is needed for the game to run, i used to be kicked out of singleplayer games for not having it.

Are you subscribed to New Units? Also, this problem happens usually because of connection problems, the game requires 2 times more to run this map i would say, but i didn´t do any tests for it, i just know that the map may not work depending on the connection between players.

I will test the map again, but it was working fine moments before the update releases.

Unfortunately any of the 12 maps doesnt work for us Titans are disabled and every AI and Player are in the correct order
on startup the host gets a blackscreen and the other player gets kicked to the main menu
or the Game simply crashes

I deactivated some starting events when the map loads, so it is easier for the map to load both players together.

maybe you should try putting the New Units mod in first place, for some reason that made it work again for me last time XD

what is happening? The difficulty don´t matter much on this map, just for enemy units upgrades.

Hi, my friend and I can't seem to get this to work. We both have the new units mod and set up the players according to how you have it above and below in the comments. Is there anything else we need to do? Should difficulty be on Easy?

i comeback to try this again, after months because when we tryed with my friend it was buggy, which is totally ok, it must not be easy.

put AIs first, your friend has to get in the 8th slot, all AIs in this map must be the No AI type, and for the crash, well, i´m trying to fix it, but i´m not sure what´s causing it either.

it should be like this:

I can't get it working and I don't know how to set it up. what does it mean for player 2 to be player 8? the second player always defaults to the second slot.

My game has crashed twice tryna get this going. what am i doing wrong?

I´ll finish the next map and come back fixing bugs, the not responding could be a bug or just the conection to the server or bettwen players that got some problems, it happened during testing actually.

When we tried to play, my friend's game went back to the main menu. It said he wasn't responding.

No guide, but you set it in a lan or online game, in the game modes section, select scenario, then click the mods button, you should find a Fall of the Trident coop map 1, something like that, the players setup are in the description, as for acutally playing the map, well, it´s the same as the original.

How do you play with friends? Is there a step by step guide somewhere?

Ow, sorry, i play in Portuguese, and in Portuguese is Zetos, i didn´t know it had this difference.

The second player in this scenario is misspelled (Xetos when it should be Xethos) if you're going for P2 being Arkantos' commander

quando eu crio a sala com um amigo meu quando eu convido ele fala "sua versao do jogo e diferente da do host" sendo q ele tem a msm versao e msms mods

ele fica na pasta mods, quando for criar a partida online, em vez de supremacia, etc, coloque cenário, dai clique no botão de mods, é ai q ficam.
