i tihnk ya got a bug that disabeles the shops form having stuff. BUT if it works it works because i want to have thoes interactions

not really a bug but can someone help me ive gona and paid GTX hosting to well host a server for me and my mates, and i cant seem to find this mod on the steam panel thing, i was wondering if anyone knew a fix or knew how to add mods manually to GTX

Also, regarding the PVP problems; simply create a version of the mod where the merchant is destructible. Yes, this means you'd easily gain the items onboard, but you'd lose reputation with the faction, so it has the same balancing as every other cargo ship that spawns in the base game. And if you feel it unbalances things, add a few turrets or something.

hey, Space Pirate owned Travelling Merchants constantly spawn, and I have the Perpetually Perturbated Pirates mod, so it's really annoying to have these indestructible enemy ships spawn that I can't trade with. Could you please disable Space Pirate merchants from spawning or at least at an option to do so?

Whenever one of these spawns on my planet, it seems that it either doesnt sell anything or only Zone Chips that I have seen so far...

Should be possible to detect if the ship is moving without using it's own thrusters. Eg dampeners are on but ship is accelerating. Or detect the attachment of landing gears. Make the entire ship explode if you try moving it at any real speed.

Ah sorry to hear that, im not sure if there would be a way to prevent this to be honest, sorry to hear that it wont work that well in MP because of this, and can easily be abused in SP, but thats obviously the decicion of the player in that case.

I make sure to mention this in the mod description to dont get other peoples hope up in case i dont find a way to fix it

Sadly, my players too clever. They will attach with landing gear, hijack the ship, and use it as indestructable battering ram. Maybe have ship stop and convert to station, or just have it spawn as a station originally, but in a random location...? Not sure. Probably some way to prevent this sort of behavior but until there is, cant use this in MP. I love the mod and the concept however. Keep it up!

Instead you could put defenses inside and outside the ship, so if someone suddenly tries to break something, they will turn hostile

Exactly. It's magical because it's indestructible AND doesn't have a safezone.

magical? Its indestructible in the same way as Stations with Safe zones, just without a safe zone (thanks to the Modular Encounter Spawner). This way its just like a mobile Trading Station

the Ship uses one of the random factions that are also used in the economy Stations and you cant spawn it in to any other faction
