In solo play there is none. In multiplayer the host will never see any but other players will once they load into the next level in the campaign and it can be fixed by restarting the ge

first map could use some primary weapons, fighting a tank with pistols and melee on expert is crazy. also the frag rounds are kinda useless if there are no primaries

3.5/5. like this scene and the various effects, but the events in each chapter were basically the same and so easy to pass, made me feel like a tourist, not a survivor.

Yep.. this is a problem I've found L4D2 has with packed BSP assets. When you embed the assets into the BSP. They will be loaded for one map cycle. If you restart, change level, or rejoin then it unloads the assets.

Restarting is the only fix. What I should've done to begin with was include the assets in the addons VPK files instead of embeded into the BSP like is traditionally done in Garry's Mod with no issues. But, hey. This was an early addon so the rookie mistakes were bound to happen.

Major bug with this campaign is the missing texture/error. But, it only applied to other player. Being a host or single player will not have this problem.

To fix it in co-op mode:
Simply quit the game, reboot and join the host again. Then again, imagine repeating it until the finale. (That's what we did and it isn't fun and time consuming)

It was great, unless there wasn't so many errors in the map. Doors, switches, ammo, literally everything was cracked and I couldn't even go forward.

Ещё из того, что не понравилось, это то, что все главы однообразны по текстурам.
Из того, что понравилось - это то, что тут в убегах очень много аптек. Да и просто во время прохождения игры, аптеки и дифибы часто встречаются.

В общем, не самая плохая кампания, но с наличием неприятных косяков.

Так же, в 6 главе боты телепортировались за дверь ещё до включения ивента, который должен эту дверь открывать (частый косяк на многих картах). В концовке нет ни бомб, ни стволов, ни аптек (благо хоть патроны имеются). Есть ещё один очень неприятный косяк - при загрузке следующей главы, у игроков вместо текстур повсюду появляются надписи "Error" красного или фиолетового цвета. И это не исправить никак кроме перезахода в игру. Причём это у всех кроме хостера. У того, кто создал лобби, такого косяка не наблюдается.

Довольно большая кампания, состоящая из 7 коротеньких глав, и имеющая много косяков. На первой главе нет стволов до самого конца, как взял вилы, так и бегал с ними. Учитывая, что там почти сразу был танк, пришлось попотеть. Вторая и третья главы особо короткие. В четвёртой главе почему то было сразу два танка - один за одним. В шестой главе, после ивента был танк, который не мог проломить дверь, в результате чего убить его не составило не малейшего труда.

Decent port, but some problems hinder gameplay.

- Tanks can spawn on the first map when you only have pistols and melee weapons. If you're playing on higher difficulties, you don't stand a chance.

- Ammo upgrades (incendiary, explosive) also spawn on the first map, but there is not much use for them since again there are no primary weapons.

- The visibility is generally poor, especially during the later levels. That super thick fog with rain indoors makes it way too hard to see, and it's not very fitting.

- Survivor bots get stuck often, so I had to use Admin System to teleport them to me.

- During the finale, infected spawn behind doors that cannot be reopened. You have to shoot them through the door for them to keep on spawning. This also happens with most doors overall throughout the campaign.

Solid work overall. If these issues are sorted out I'm pretty sure the submission can reach 5 stars.

terrible. not only some textures and objects are still missing, some indestructible doors could not be open if infected are banging it from behind. tanks could also spawn right after you leave your starting point, when it only provides you with pistols and melee weapons.

Hey man im a bit late with this just wanna say very very well done. Just wanted to say though that when you load the next level for every level an extra 4 medkits appear could you fix this somehow please? Ik its weird to bring up having extra supplies as an issue but it makes things a liitle too nice and besides its a bug right? lol thanks man

Always wanted to play Nova Prospekt in L4D2. As it stands there are many invisible props in every map and it can be very frustrating to bump into them.
I find the weather effects to be rather pointless, make no sense (since we're indoors) and ruin the atmosphere with Left 4 Dead's awful and unrealistic looking fog.

I would recommend to everyone that plays this campaign to use sv_cheats 1, fog_override 1 and fog_enable 0 for a more authentic Half-Life 2 experience. It looks much better, and the dark room section in the last map actually makes sense (because you know... it's supposed to be "dark").

Other than the fog and invisible props, there are some seemingly arbitrary map changes but they aren't anything bad and thus pose no issue.

It's just cool to play these great Half-Life 2 maps in Left 4 Dead. I enjoyed playing it (albeit with fog disabled).

No, it’s Player_Checkpoint. Without it, the director automatically starts and quickly sends a horde after players to their own start area.

I can try, but usually if you give them a little they’ll TP to you and get unstuck. If not you could walk back a bit and try going forward again it might change their path

Really great work on your end though the ai are stuck in the saferoom for that 2nd to last level that has that drop, the level after the cafteria tank fight and sometimes they dont teleport which is a bit of problem. Could you give it a look please?

Haven't gone far into the first map, acceptable ambience work (though some transitions are a bit sudden - like the small cave\collapsed wall section), but there are invisible objects everywhere, as well as tiny untextured squares on the walls.
Went into the comments and found out that it's an issue that will be fixed at some point.
Will be waiting.

Definitely sounds like some people don't know about the "content".
Out of over 800 subscribers, no one else mentioned anything missing.
Nobody complaining over at "Game Maps" either.
