for whatever reason, when i get close to the ruins of shem castle my game crashes. I dont know what could be causing this

Ok, let me just start off by saying you did good work on this mod, but jesus christ you put waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many illegal diggers in Shem Castle

No problem. I ended up changing my game save file so all the faction relations of everyone who live in the Castle were set to 100 so they don't fight with each other or me... for now ;D

First of all, I was very late in replying.
I'm sorry.

The town of Shem Castle Ruins is set in a private zone controlled by bandits.
And “Take Over Shem Castle Town” is set to public.

From the above, there may be a problem with the takeover settings.
I think you can make the dungeon public as you say.
I plan to update MOD but it takes time.

...But they attack the explorer hahahaha. I changed Explorer standing to 100 for Deadcat & Shem Castle and now he is safe too ;o))
Seems it wasn't the "public" setting as that reverted back to false anyway so it was the faction standing that stopped us from being attacked. No idea if that can be automated in the mod or I was just unlucky to find this problem.
Being "false" though, still means they are attacking Nomads and anyone else who is neutral or isn't allied with them or a faction within the Castle.

All fixed now. I went into FCS & altered my faction standing to 100 with Deadcat even though it was at +1 anyway. BUT, while I was there I noticed the Town State setting for Shem Castle Ruins had "public" set to FALSE so I changed that to TRUE.
No idea which fixed it but now they leave me alone so I'm happy ;o)

Thanks Stilldoll. I wasn't sure why it was happening as the Bar was public and they were being attacked outside anyway. I switched off help allies in the AI options in case it was because lots of other factions were fighting with each other and my guys were fighting to help one of those factions but even when I put my guys on hold they were still being attacked. I will see if I can find out why it was happening and post here if I find out. Still loving the mod as it adds a nice distraction to my gameplay ;o))

I couldn't find the cause for this issue.
However, the MOD has been updated with all Shem Castle houses public.
Please let me know if your problem occurs again.

Did Shem, Did, Raptor Cave, on my way to Cave Ruin I went into Shem Castle to drop off some loot. Some Mercs were fighting in the Bar in the Castle Square (next to the outside wall)
When I went into the Bar OR anywhere near the Castle itself, the Shem (Deadcat) people called me an intruder and started to attack lol.
My relations with Deadcat is currently at +1 so I have no idea why they attacked as I also have a house in the Castle Square and no one had attacked me previously.

I use translation.
The cause of your crash bug was in my MOD update.
It was the cause of the crash bug in ver.4 updated to 9/4 AM1: 53.
The bug was fixed and uploaded to ver.5.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Really enjoyed this mod. When I returned to Shem I bought a house then did research to level 6, left a LOT of good loot there & went to do the Cave & Raptor ruins. When I returned the game kept crashing when trying to load the Castle so I could not retrieve my loot.
So I saved before going to the Castle & disabled the mod. All the characters were stood where the Castle was. The gates & the Corpse Furnaces were still there too but no castle. All the people were simply stood on the ground where their shops where previously.
I re-enabled the mod, but this time the Castle returned but my house was now back to a Deadcat one so all my loot had gone, plus, no one was in any of the shops, the Castle was totally deserted. I couldn't even loot any of the shops as everything had been removed from the storages etc.
It was good while it lasted but it looks like I'll have to import so that everything disappears completely, don't want 100 guys just standing in the desert forever.

Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for translation.
Also, all my MODs have English translations, which seem very difficult to understand and have a bad reputation.
Probably the same thing happens if I translate in Chinese.

I tried translating part of the MOD text.
Check it.
I will plan the translation if you see it and have no problems.

this will be awesome, although I forgot to ask where is the treasure map located? or perhaps could you put the location of the castle in your dungeon details spoilers discussion please, as i want to see for myself the castle and the castle deadcat takeover state

I'm also interested in your mod and subscribed.
And I learned the fun of player town takeover.
I'm interested in being able to make NPC residents live in Player Town at Player Town Takeover.
I am looking for that way now.

if you look up my mod Reavers Rise your rise to power, you can see how I have done the player town takeover and how i enabled player allied npcs squad that patrols and defend your player controlled base, the npcs also include a trader and plastic surgeon you can use but i have not found a way to get npcs to use player placed standing nodes like for shop keeper guard ect they just patrol your town like the traders would an npc town havent tested yet if they will buy things from a player shop but it might work if the player allied squad has a shopping list and some cats.

i'd love to see that done for the Siem castle, even if the building has problems, i'd just work around them lol. feel free to use the ideas and my mod to find out how i enabled the player allied npcs.

Unfortunately, there are no plans for players to takeover the town.
That's because my building has a problem.

Also, the idea for players to takeover the town is very interesting.
I would like to use your ideas as a reference for MOD production.

ahh, my fault I should have been more specific, I meant would you be willing to release a version with a player controlled take over state for siem castle, you could even add player allied Npcs that spawn and patrol the town there

I use translation.
Ruins of shem castle will be taken over by Dead Cat, an NPC faction, after successfully completing the mission prepared in the dungeon.
It will change from ruins to town.

The appearance is a two-story fort.
There is a building on the roof.

any chance of a takeover state for the castle? or even all three? im most intrested in what the castle would be like to hold as a base also in your pictures what the entrances and outside of these locations look like from a distance?
