Thanks for creating all these great Middle Earth scenarios. I love Lotr and all the lore, and few games have gotten me so enveloped-let alone scenarios- {
Nice to hear your kind words, i will try to update the whole serie when the developer fixed the team lock issue, the gates at the left wall are represent the ladders, cant think of any to replace them yet :p
I editing it with regards to the AI, and the battle still went seemlesses. The Orcs/Uruk-hai still charged, Aragorn and group still fought wargs, and I almost lost due to berserkers.
After reading what you wrote, I removed the enemy added forces, and battle still went fine. In any case, very thankful for a beautiful scenario. Most realisitc Helm's Deep battle yet!
P:S: Maybe update scenario with like siege towers to represent the ladders?
Btw not recommending you to play this serie now because the game didnt fix the "Lock team" issue for custom maps yet.
I didn't see it as cheating, sicne it was me v them

King Kanut: click the subscribe button above and host from your map scenario.
For the heros at the beginning, you all supposed to run tho the first 5p's gate before taking down the enemy gate, because it is a prevent glitch settings that prevent AI enemy get in that gate to stuck or waste pop, so if you have units broke the gate first and others stay behind, the gate will lock, but you can unlock the gate again in the 1p unglitch island, which is located in the center of the map, and ofcoz you can lock it back too:)
For the archers they have like +9 damage of each, should be good enough and balanced (like 4-5 arrows to take down one urukhai)
Also, i forgot to mention the enemy AI recommend civ are celts, since they most likely dont build woad raiders.
The 5p overlap gates are the ladders, and i cant think of another presentation to represent them atm, but uruk hais cant get tho it before they do "ladders up".
And yes, maybe i will make Siege of gondor but i dont have time atm..maybe later :p
Thank you for the kind comments :)
Legolas, Gimli and Theoden were all stuck in the top left corner because we can't control the Eoywn gates.
Also, the archers (longbowmen) do terrible damage, and I found that many of the units (i.e. teutonic knights, longbowmen, etc) were not modified at all. They had regular damage, regular health, etc.
Another suggestion would be to have the orcs try and build the "ladders" .. in the movie they had to actually put them up themselves. Maybe have some villagers with a lot of health and armor try and build them with increased building speed. These "ladders" should also be destroyable.
Other than that the map was very enjoyable, but in my experience, could use s little work. Look forward to upcoming updates, and possibly a battle of plenor fields/minas'tirith map? :)
