Oh, I see. Thank you very much!
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 29 Aug, 2024 @ 3:39pm
The one in the preview mixes with Peach's hair from another mod to have flowing hair. But other than that, it is in this mod. So you might want that one mod to achieve this effect

Hello. I don’t know if they will answer or not, but I don’t have the hairstyle like in the preview. Is this how it was intended?
Wayfinder 1 Jun, 2024 @ 9:34pm
Is there a version without the hurtsounds?
GlitchSans240 16 Aug, 2022 @ 9:06pm
I'd like to see the colors of the dragon on the thumbnail, Sash Lilac's colors, & orange colors for both body color & hair color added to this mod.
Ahma 10 Jul, 2022 @ 4:59pm
I personally would like to see a buncha different colors, mainly gold and silver cause I think those would look pretty
GlitchSans240 18 Feb, 2022 @ 6:41pm
@ryuketsu1192 Maybe you could tie the body color to scale color, if you haven't already.
Carl 28 Jan, 2022 @ 2:34am
If I may suggest, A dark green or red? Other colours could be a golden yellow or a reddish purple.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 6:08pm
The one in the picture was manually added so the character looks more like in the artwork. I have no reason to add more color palettes but I'm open for suggestions.
Carl 15 Jan, 2022 @ 9:58am
I have another question- do they have colours other than the original skin types, like the one in the picture?
Carl 9 Sep, 2021 @ 9:20am
Therefore I shall subscribe! I'm really bothered by the vanilla emotes, as a couple of them make you look like a neanderthal.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 9 Sep, 2021 @ 8:16am
@Saardiner I manually patched the emotes to be cutebound style. The previous ones were not compatible with the face, which were cutebound styled in the original anyway so it seemed to be a partial implementation. I took care of the rest.
Carl 9 Sep, 2021 @ 5:45am
Say, does it change the emotes to be cutebound style?
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 18 May, 2021 @ 10:29am
I'll see what I can do when I have the time
GlitchSans240 17 May, 2021 @ 6:22pm
Maybe upload the .patch version separately?
GlitchSans240 17 May, 2021 @ 6:18pm
I have an idea! Try converting this mod's files to .patch format, if you haven't already. That might fix it. I'd do it myself, but I don't know how.
GlitchSans240 17 May, 2021 @ 6:10pm
Also, sorry for being super late to reply, I've been busy with real life
GlitchSans240 17 May, 2021 @ 6:07pm
Any ideas on how to fix it?
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 4 May, 2021 @ 6:18pm
I don't know why this may be happening but apparently Starbound is not loading the species file entirely for you, as the skin color options are in the file itself, not a separate one. And as far as I can tell, they work for me
GlitchSans240 3 May, 2021 @ 2:56pm
I checked my color settings, they're at system default, (SurfaceEnhanced) on my laptop, and I use a Microsoft Surface laptop with Windows 10, if that helps.
GlitchSans240 3 May, 2021 @ 2:47pm
Same problem as KaleShibata except my color settings have been, and are, at default for my monitor. I'll check anyway, though!
GlitchSans240 3 May, 2021 @ 2:16pm
To be clear: I deleted any mods that added skin colors EXCEPT this one.
GlitchSans240 3 May, 2021 @ 2:15pm
I've been having a problem with this mod, the non-human skin colors won't load, I removed any and all mods that add skin colors for any race, I checked my latest log, (nothing came up that would imply a mod collision,) I even deleted any existing any existing Draconis characters, and nothing seemed to have worked.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 8 Apr, 2021 @ 7:25am
Bruh xD
When everything is as they should but still don't look right, could be something else I guess
KaleShibata 7 Apr, 2021 @ 11:16am
Update: TLDR im kind of an idiot as i discovered two fairly important things: that being my monitors color settings were not what i had them set to. and b all of it IS there however i had to go and learn color hexadecimal to kind of understand that no nothing was in fact wrong i'm just a dope. but i DID learn hexa and get some valuable info for doing things with it myself. yay benefits.

figured i'd come by and mention it anyway.
KaleShibata 25 Mar, 2021 @ 8:32pm
Quick addition (steam please give comment editing abilities) so taking EVERYTHING OUT but those two, reinstaalling and the like? doesn't fix it at all. im genuinely baffled...maybe sleep will help
KaleShibata 25 Mar, 2021 @ 8:19pm
i may have a theory but ima test it tommorrow. there might be one other thing i perhaps overlooked but its gonna involve picking and choosing things to remove. I'll let you know how that goes.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 25 Mar, 2021 @ 7:36pm
I didn't find anything that could be the issue. I had problems with Starbound not loading all the assets entirely on a server but this is a client we're talking about, right? All the skin colors are in a single file, so if only the human skin colors are loading, then this issue you're having doesn't make sense to exist. The skin colors are in the species file itself and were not modified from the original draconis mod. There must have a third mod that is modifying, removing colors when it shouldn't. I can't help you with that. Starbound is not likely to selectively refuse to load json strings from a file. If it is, I have never seen that and never heard about it.
KaleShibata 25 Mar, 2021 @ 4:26pm
ok here's the drop box...but asside frorm a stalker projectile issue which im absolutely certain isn't yours im not sure what to make of the string this spits at me aside from thaat. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tucbsfxbfnah8g0/starbound.log?dl=0
KaleShibata 25 Mar, 2021 @ 3:53pm
ok so...nothing changesd regardless of the outcome. it removes the wings sure but restricts the pallete to human colors. the horns do not have this issue and neither does the hair. nothing i have changes the draconis specifically after i removed the reskin and reinstalled the mod's pak to make sure. nothing in my log files points to anything blocking it. but i can post it and see if you can make heads or tails of it i suppose its worth a shot.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 25 Mar, 2021 @ 2:53pm
It's possible, but I'm not sure if I would be able to debug all that. So far I've been making everything as I learn, so if there is anything too complex to fix, I'd need someone else's help.
KaleShibata 24 Mar, 2021 @ 9:22pm
mmk so this patch doesn't give me the colors, and according to my starbound log im getting a bunch of lua related stuff thrown at me. is it possible this is only designed to work if you are subscribed through steam and not just having the two pak files present? bout to test that. but if you need the log let me know. i'll be back tommorrow afternoon with an update on that.
StormDraconid 7 Mar, 2021 @ 1:06am
I think this patch should become a standalone mod! I will look for it!
Z'uldiss 3 Feb, 2021 @ 1:47am
I only thought to check now.

I mean after asking the creators, mostly, if anyone can get in touch with them.

If they gave permission, and your interest in Starbound still persists, it'd be wonderful for everyone, I figure. Still, alright. Good luck with your work.
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 2 Feb, 2021 @ 1:34pm
quixoticstargazer I understand what you mean but I know a few people who would get pissed if I simply take over the draconis because it belongs to someone else or doesn't have the GPL license or something. I thought about updating the base mod or at least fixing the bugs I found but my plan is actually fork the draconis mod and make this patch a future standalone mod.

This mod was quite the learning curve for me but there is still a lot for me to learn to even get to fix bugs with this mod, like the healing staves that appear as generic items on the menu and stuff like that. So far I am alone in developing this patch. I need help of experienced people like Nebulox, Nitrosteel, Travelling Merchant or VoidEyeGaming to get the coding done and let's not even get started with spriting.
Lexi Lunarpaw 27 Jan, 2021 @ 4:40pm
I wish Freedom Planet 2 wasnt in development hell...
Z'uldiss 16 Jan, 2021 @ 5:42pm
🤔Since you appear to have interest in the Draconis, have you ever thought about taking over maintaining the base mod? You wouldn't have to add anything to them. It's just a matter of figuring out whatever it is that it needs to get it up-to-date again and prevent it from dying off.

I don't know what updating requires, myself, however I would suggest that if you consider it, it should be a separate thing from this appearance alteration. Freedom Planet is cool, but some people might prefer the original Draconis style.

Also, I hope you're fortunate enough to find mods for yourself to substitute for Lilac's Dragon Boost and other abilities.🐲
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 24 Dec, 2020 @ 8:22am
There are quite a few skin colors. If you have any mod that is affecting the main draconis mod, you need to remove it. This mod doesn't affect the skin colors of the main mod
Stella_Wickerbeast 23 Dec, 2020 @ 5:40pm
i having difficulty when selecting skin colour it only shows the human skins. any idea as to why this might be happening???
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 6 Dec, 2020 @ 3:06pm
Any mod that modifies the arm sprites for draconis by any chance, it will conflict. I use this mod all the time and it is working as intended
Lyra 5 Dec, 2020 @ 11:18am
If you have any other mod that alters the appearance of draconis, they will conflict with each other. If that's not the case, restart starbound a couple times idk. Sometimes it can be fickle about enabling mods.
[GIR] YuriSolaire [Twitch] 4 Dec, 2020 @ 6:08pm
I don,t know why but thw wing is not removed for me
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 22 Oct, 2020 @ 5:53am
λblokhedゴゴ
then you must have another mod modifying the species. If it is changing how the dragons look in any way, it's not compatible.
GryffintheBaron 20 Oct, 2020 @ 8:53pm
i have this patch and race mod but doesnt remove the scales only wings
Ralsei 12 Oct, 2020 @ 7:31am
ok
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 11 Oct, 2020 @ 8:05am
There is a blue option.
Ralsei 10 Oct, 2020 @ 5:57pm
How do you make the dragon, like in the picture, blue
Ryu Ketsueki  [author] 10 Oct, 2020 @ 5:02pm
What do you mean?
Ralsei 10 Oct, 2020 @ 11:16am
Quik question, how do you make the dragon blu?
Skonk 8 Oct, 2019 @ 6:17pm
Understandable
