Sounds are created on map load, which means we can't modify them afterwards.

Could you put a volume option in the spawn menu? these guns are pretty loud and when i turn down my entire games volume, i cant hear anything else.

I originally balanced these weapons for nzombies, and the recoil was allowing players to get to out of bounds areas.
No point in re-adding it either - all the weapons deal less damage now, which means less of a jump

Does it still crash if you only have TFA CSO, and nothing else?

Hello Global. I discovered this mod recently while creating a darksouls style modpack, and I really liked the Balrog gloves. I wanted to know if you ever intend to launch a modpack just for weapons in this style, I really liked the gloves and I thought it would be interesting if there was a way to block blows using them.

@kadencabs, there are no missing weapons. If you say some of the weapons with different names at the back like (A Mode), (B Mode), (Charging), and many more got removed, they are merged with the other variant (Test out the Stun Rifle and Tornado to get what I mean by that)

I just reread your comment now that I'm home and realized you said "every weapon".
Can you reproduce this in Sandbox? Any errors? Any additional information can help me look into this.

The new update broke how explosives are handled globally across from every weapon, not just the CSO weapons, skipping the death sequence entirely, mostly prevalent in nZombies, as if you try to kill yourself with an explosive you go straight up die then respawn instantly.

That's actually something you can do with the new damage config system. Unfortunately though, I don't think we're going to add a toggle to move to old damage.

The latest update is finally out! Many changes, bugfixes, new weapons, you name it.
Many weapons got their special abilities and modes, and many more got polish and fixes.
There's too many changes to fit in the description - please check the latest change notes in the add-on!

If it's not changing in-game, you aren't changing it properly
Either make sure it's in the right path (garrysmod/addons/tfa_cso/lua/weapons/tfa_cso_classname.lua) or wait for the config update slated as the next major update

How to modify melee weapon damage?
Even if you change the dmg value inside the weapon's file, it does not change in-game.

I'm not sure what do you mean by effect drop for drakar, but drakar is one of the weapons will get it's full feature in the next update (along with a bunch of them also with features exactly the same as in cso)
