That turret has the level of companionship as Wilson from Entropy Zero 2

Thanks for playing.

nice creation

Now that I think about it, I suppose I could have had a place to put it and then a pincer claw come down and carry it away.
CS Jones 26 Nov, 2021 @ 2:39am
I carried the turret as far as I could, but was expecting something to happen. It would've been nice to have an easter egg or bonus line of dialogue if you bring it all the way to the small room?
Skyferret  [author] 26 Jun, 2021 @ 1:49pm
I'm sure it's a lot happier now. LOL.

I got a little nice place for that turret asking for help. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2528421243

Valve should pay you for your masterpieces :p2wheatley::p2blue::MCCSWORD:

I expected more, but thumbs up for what there was.

I like all the mechanisms, cool series so far, looks are appealing.
Spider_Dawg 25 Aug, 2020 @ 7:08pm
That'll teach me to bring my own. Thanks for creating.
Skyferret  [author] 25 Aug, 2020 @ 3:01pm
I did but the cleaning staff got to it before you did. Thanks for playing.
Spider_Dawg 25 Aug, 2020 @ 12:43pm
Another nice map, was just a bit disappointed that you didn't leave anything in the ashtray for me.
Malfaction 24 Aug, 2020 @ 2:17pm
Very nice map; great continuation of Odyssey Part 1; thumbs up!!
Sophronius 5 Jul, 2020 @ 7:00pm
as always a great chamber!
crazywoodsman 15 May, 2020 @ 3:53pm
very cool, definatally going to check out ALL of Skyferrets work after this
Skyferret  [author] 14 May, 2020 @ 1:12pm
Thanks. That's the same method as riding the tubes with Wheatley in the original game. It's a proxy cam that switches from player view to cam view then back to player view.
quatrus 14 May, 2020 @ 7:08am
Noticing new technical effects - smooth movement through vent - not too many are able to do that effectively - beautiful. Thanks again.

@Donderbus......Thanks for playing the series. As for something not working after reloading the game, it might have something to do with F6 coming "after" the player triggered a trigger_once. Or when I play test a map and put a save point after a trigger_once that enables background sounds, the sounds don't come back after reload. It's almost like it's saying "I will only trigger that once even if you restart the game" and there's nothing to enable the sounds again. Thanks for playing.
Donderbus 15 Apr, 2020 @ 3:24am
Very nice, thanks! Only had some problems with the suction tube after quick loading. Wasn't working anymore. This series is looking good :)
jp 2 Apr, 2020 @ 7:44am
That's interesting, I didn't know it was possible via a point_clientcommand. I will try this in one of my maps, could be fun :)
Skyferret  [author] 2 Apr, 2020 @ 2:13am
I did not include that option of moving portals. I'm assuming you might have mistakenly thought there was a moving portal. I think the only way to get a portal to stay open on a moving surface would be if I added point_clientcommand. The input is "command" and in the parameter override you put in the same as you would with the dev console to get moving portals.
jp 1 Apr, 2020 @ 4:48am
Well I mean a portal closes when the surface behind it is moving. You cannot keep it open and moving. Let me test something; I'll try to explain better then... :)
Skyferret  [author] 1 Apr, 2020 @ 3:08am
If you mean the part at the end, I use func_rot_door. I make it with nodraw and it sits above everything as parent entity. But I'm not sure what you mean by 'open portal' on it.
jp 31 Mar, 2020 @ 6:04pm
Woaw! How do you make a pivoting panel with an open portal on it? I tried to make it once with a sequence of "stop and move"; where the stops display the portal but it was a complete mess...
Do you have another method? thank you!
Special Agent Dale Cooper 29 Mar, 2020 @ 8:58am
I enjoyed this second entry as well. Thank you for mapping!
Pif 18 Mar, 2020 @ 12:24pm
Just fix the last part of the map, because with a simple portal trick you can jump directly to the finish with the cube without using the button for rotate the machine in the middle, otherwise gg for the map

too casual for the puzzle
d'Artagnan 30 Dec, 2019 @ 11:42am
@Skyferret - LOL!
Skyferret  [author] 29 Dec, 2019 @ 9:48pm
Ed. If you think like me, then you'll have a strong desire to offset time and space from normal relativity. Thanks for playing.
d'Artagnan 29 Dec, 2019 @ 7:34pm
This one was a little simpler than the first... or else I'm thinking more like you are now! :cozyroe:

Skyferret  [author] 17 Dec, 2019 @ 2:35pm
Pikajedi......I don't think you're the first to sneak in a shot at that tunnel. Note to self: Use noportal volume more often. Thanks for playing. And thanks to everyone else for playing.
Pikajedi 17 Dec, 2019 @ 11:09am
Another awesome map! The puzzles were really hard this time. Saw a way to cheese the first room by shooting a portal at the tunnel above from a specific angle. But I went back and found the intended solution immediately afterward.
Rooke 15 Dec, 2019 @ 1:40pm
Those were real brain teasers. :pulls-hair-out: I liked them. :steamhappy:
RedKnife 1 Dec, 2019 @ 11:18pm
Very well done. Thank you.
JMSLD_ 28 Nov, 2019 @ 10:24am
That first part took me way longer than it should have! Onto part 3...
KIKI_DI 28 Nov, 2019 @ 2:59am
I like this map!
Jeepdigger89 20 Nov, 2019 @ 3:26pm

DJlHunt3r 11 Nov, 2019 @ 8:04am
good
Skyferret  [author] 31 Oct, 2019 @ 10:38pm
@cal........yes, you can pick it up and bring it with you, but eventually you'll run into a fizzler field and have to say goodbye to the little guy. That is unless your question relates to the start of the map.
Kërŧu 31 Oct, 2019 @ 6:55pm
is there a way to take the turret with you?
kwinten 31 Oct, 2019 @ 5:13am
great
CringePotato 30 Oct, 2019 @ 8:54pm
Copy and paste this all over steam so Valve will give us the option for the classic steam library
