loved the map, maybe just make it accessible from the steam workshop section inside black mesa rather than having to use console. Otherwise great!

i just beg you that make an map about navajo county , navajo county was an city near from bm really near the most near it had some bm staff and it was an town and like it was an first area city to get affected without be bm and like why not an mod about that with an different charcter with random events survive and civillians and etc

Incredible use of the same areas. I'm a big fan of mappers that design certain areas for all forms of gameplay. :)

Heads up that the map has sorta collapsed in on itself with the release of the 1.0 update, check the description for details.

I'm currently dealing with both college and also my crumbling mental health, so it may take some time for me to get a new update out. But once it's done, I hopefully plan to fix all of the issues as well as introduce minor detailing improvements with some of the new assets released for the 1.0 version.

My goal is to have the new version out within the next month, so ideally by April 8th.

New update has been released. See changelog for details.

Been putting this update off since I didn't want to sit through another 8 hour compile, but I wanted to get this update out now in the event that Vinny Boi Vinesauce decides to play some custom maps. (wink wink nudge nudge)

(But basically every custom map needs to be updated now anyway, since the music filenames have been changed, so either way I guess it needed to happen)

I'm pretty impressed. Just wow!

I remember testing the Emergency 17 few years ago, and now I definitely see a great improvement overall. You should keep making more maps/mods, and please include Xen universe next time :)

The canyon part is great. The unbeatable grunt ambush in the circular kill ring is awful, and merits a thumbs down for the whole package. Terrible.

This was very good. It has a very nicely done interconnected level design and the secrets are a nice touch.

Soundscape problem I may be able to help you. You might need to use VIDE or packrat the soundscapes.txt file into the map then pack it? normally works for me in garry's mod not too sure with this one. Hope it my comment helps.

OK, I think I figured it out actually.

Check to make sure you have the public beta installed. This uses one or two things from the xen update, so it won't run without it.

I'm really not sure why some people are having issues with downloading and launching the map while other people are not.

All I can say is unsub and resub, make sure you're typing the command in right, all that stuff. Make sure you can play other workshop maps as well, just to be sure it's not on your end.

Now that's what I call perfection. Incredible map - well designed in every single aspect.. Monster placement, ammunition, architecture and mapping in general. Not to mention a good usage of sounds and scripts.

minor bug or rather an overlooked thing:
After activating the power I didn't notice the elevator. So I went through the surface access out again. That skipped the final monster trigger + music. Best you add an additional trigger on the door in case the player decides not to use the elevator. Took me few minutes to figure that out 'cause the gates were naturally still closed due to me ignoring the elevator.

It's a really neat map, even though I missed some of the secrets... My only real complaint would be the HEV Zombie. If you don't have the shotgun from the secret earlier, or you don't have the two shells required for a double shot, it can eat *a lot* of ammo. My only other complaint would be that the Grunts eat through suit energy and health alike like it doesn't exist. Aside from that, it's an amazing map. I especially love how it all loops back on itself, and forms this cohesive thing, and it's just generally great design. Everything felt natural and fit well.

The map was neat, I had fun solving the puzzles to find the 6 secrets as well

regarding your soundscapes issue:
Are valid soundscape names being used? soundscape_debug showed things such as c2a4e.hallway being set when the soundscape .txts only have, for example, c2a4e.hallway1 and .hallway2. The soundscape entity using c2a4b.hallway_small (a valid soundscape name) seemed to work just fine as well
