@EnderGamerCubed. Read last few comments, this mod was discontinued. If you have time and needs for that - contact @TwitchingPsycho for assets and code it for curent version yourself.

is there an airtight rotor that has other airtight offshoots? I'm trying to build the Hermes from The Martian

I have went into the sbc files and changed something in there... idk if that was legal or not but I changed the MaxForceMagnitude from original to now 1000E6... safe to say my creation now works cuz of it

Rather dissapointed nobody got inspired by this mod and made one complete one with proper models, scripting for the airtightness mechanism and all. Oh well. T.T Sorry that I didn't get to finish it. Hopefully someone does end up making a fully featured mod like this.

The only way to increase it is either via a script to apply it to all rotor types or to duplicate my mod and do changes directly yourself and publish it or some such.

is there any way to increase the Rotor speed and torque of this mod?

I have another mod called "Better Rotors and Wheels! - Clang go poof edition" and it increases both torque and speed but i am not sure it works on this mod. the mod increases the torque of vanilla rotors and hinges to 1000MNm and to 240 velocity.

Im asking cuz i have a project and this mod was absolutely perfect but the rotor is a wee bit underpowered..

The Big Ring rotors are hollow and can pass threw them which is cool, probably good for a turret entrance.
however can you make a another one that is a conveyor connection threw the ring, and or a T or 6 way Intersection conveyor to output to the ring too
also a small block variant too, though in saying that my last test for putting thrusters on roters was NOT very successful :steamsad::steamfacepalm:

adding thrust doesn't work as a rotor speed drive while the rotor in in neutral, I Tested Vanilla Rotors too, no real consistent spin...:steamsad:

anyway love the trough drive rotors that made making my walker easier to make :cozybethesda:

I think due to how volatile those blocks are, I might have restricted it to category only, meaning not visible in general blocks etc. Not sure tho, can't remember. Also, usually just using search works too.

It's not even a finished mod but a quick concept work. It's not even close to done. It needed construction stages, LOD stages and scripting to actually enable the tunnel rotor to have airtightness etc. That was the plan anyway. It needed scripting cause the mount points weren't enough. If I remember correctly, it has some placement issues because i tried to do airtightness via mount points alone instead of scripting due to lack of knowledge and time. 😅

Hello! We still hope what you will update your awesome mod, because nobody create same awesome! Your mod absolutelly perfect, but have some problems with polygones and mechanic. I hope you continue work on this mod, so far it has a good promise.
still going to use Rotor Variety for the time being, as i prefer to play in Survival and your mod is not there yet for it, the airtight variant is cool but has no working connection ports yet and buggy model and collision.

still, keep up the great work, your models look great and fit into the base games style!

this causes a CTD when you try and spawn a small rotor head on the large block centered rotor word of warning otherwise seems to work fine

I'm having the same issue as RoxStar.
What is the name of the parts? Just searching for "Rotor" doesn't show any of these parts. Couldn't find them when i clicked through manually either, but i've heard that some mods doesn't show up there and has to be searched for.

Just found this mod. Hope its still being worked on. Not sure how this would work, but, is it possible to have this linked to conveyors so that it can be loaded/unloaded after it has rotated? Linking up to a stationary conveyor or cargo pod.

Sadly no. Conveyors shouldn't be working at all, there no ports. I'm a bit busy lately so I'm just not getting around to finishing it. Sorry, hopefully in near future i finally have some time to do some work on this prototype mod. -.-

Is there a way with your ring to connect the subgrid rotating on the ring to a conveyor system in the main grid? Or is that automatic?

I'll assume you mean game stability using rotors? Then no. I guess not really. I mean no block should ever be more stable then a modded to begin with unless Keen fucked up which they'll still fix.

its an older one i thought i needed to get a rotor with a built in conveyor. broke recently. prolly with the update. but i dont need it, so i am glad i was able to find out what was breaking the rotors i had in use.

Sorry the updates take so long, I'm in the middle of a PC upgrade, hardware is all over the place in my room. xD Waiting for next month's paycheck for a new motherboard. T.T
