1.6 update coming?

To be fair, the Humanoid Alien Races mod that this depends on only just updated to 1.6 today.

So, I'd imagine it's going to take a little bit for them to update to 1.6, as well.

Any plans for a 1.6 update ?

Is it possible to edit mod in such way, that it will only add race - without weapons/apparel/etc.?
I know that I need to copy it and install locally, but I don't have an idea which files must be edited/ deleted for that and if it even possible.

Anyone know if the Nyaron Gene mod is still working in 1.5.4? I just got Biotech.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't seem to change ears, eyes, or tails in Prepare Carefully. The options are there but when I change them it doesn't do anything. Don't know if its something with this mod or Prepare Carefully or something. Anyone else have this issue? and is it Prepare Carefully instead of this one?

Does anyone know why I can't see the Nyaron race in character editors like Prepare Carefully? I'm trying to make a little family of catfolk ._.

neat mod btw, a nyaron slave just fell in love with one of my human colonists and now i wanna turn her into a human too so their love may be legal. 10/10 would reccomend

I've been using this mod for years and one thing i've always wanted is a lot more pawn backstories for the Nyaron race. It should be relatively easy and fun to come up with. I just always felt there could be more options!

Is there any male?Their region need a missionary but it need to be male.

@farmradish After checking, it seems they need ammo bills. I think adding those would be a good way to go around it. I wish there are some ways to do it. And another thing, would there be possibly a new production or something for the modded items? I find them really cool, and wondered if the Nyaron settlement could have an exclusive or probably items to deliver. I really love it. I really think this mod got really good potential to become a good one.

Im doing a Nyaron crew in SoS2, and the Nyaron Power armor isnt EVA. would you be able to patch this?
I looked it up and found this from 2020, i dont know if its still up to date though.

Within the <apparel> tag inside the <ThingDef>

Add these lines:

quite the simple race mod that i came across quite a while back. Doesn't really have much of an additional content in comparison to other larger mods. However, since this is a rather simple race mod, it really doesn't meddle with the base game which is a great advantage as well as cute cat girls. you can't choose not to lol. besides with the recent(kinda) version giving few clothing options only for nyarons which includes maid costumes.

I noticed the Nyarons have a new eye type which is already cool. I'm talking about the slit-like eyes that are more closer to cats. However what surprised me is the fact there's only one color for these new eyes compared to the other eye types. Is it possible there will be different colors for the slit like eyes just like the other types of eyes. I feel like this is a missed opportunity that needs to be in the mod.

I like all eye types of the Nyarons but for some bizarre reason, so far in my rimworld playthroughs, slit-like eyes are some how the most rarest eyes than other eye types which currently makes it my most favorite type of eyes right now. I'm okay with this, I just hope there's more color variety!

Additionally,I have fixed that part so it will no longer be displayed.

@Rockpaw First of all, I'm sorry for confusing you. It's just dummy data, you can't make those weapons. The only way to obtain them is by opening an EP series container.

Love the mod, but just noticed something. I'm not sure if its a bug or not so I'll just ask here. I can't seem to be able to make the guns/ranged weapons. I unlocked the research and see that they show the crafting mats and amount of work required, but there is no place to actually make them. Anyone know how to or can you just not make them and have to trade?

@farmradish I'm getting the faction generation bug too. On a map set to crowded it generates 3 faction bases, each different and not even one of each faction.

How do I submit a bug report? In the log it says Error in WorldGenStep: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object [Ref5D972B15]

I also get a lot of other errors about different kinds of Nyaron not resolving a cross-reference.

@HMS Griper Except they can wear regular clothes, as far as I know. They just have a few extra options.
And thankfully, they didn't get carried away with outfits, just adding a few.

Just so you know, I had an issue where my Nyaron child had earned Tier 3 learning, but lost it all when she turned 6 (got a notification of aging up, but didn't get the option to choose her traits/abilities).
At age 7, she was back to Tier 1 when the option finally appeared to choose her traits)
