Hydrogen Ship

I've found that if I emptied out one entire large cargo container, then let it run for just a few seconds before I thrusted upward, it would lift off. However, in order to rise any further than just about 20 or 30 ft. off the ground, I had to tilt back and thrust forward to get any higher. It was also difficult to land straight with all of the weight on one side, so I'd suggest dividing your weight evenly between the two.

Also, with all inventory full of Ice (160k kg, including ship mass), the ship won't lift-off in Earth's atmosphere. It might be fine in space, though, I don't know yet.

The problem I've found so far is that the cockpit isn't connected to the conveyor system, so I'd probably run out of oxygen before I get too far.

Has anyone tried to take it to space, yet? My main interest in this ship was to use it in my search to find uranium. I'm a little worried about the hydrogen consumption if I fly around Earth looking for it. If I could get out of the atmosphere, I could shut off the engines and use the thrusters without the dampener for more fuel-efficient travel.
