If you want the 1handed version of this weapon, just use the one that's installed in the game, aka Dragonbane. It is accesible about halfway into the main story, shortly after you rescue and old man.
imo you should change your model. instead of taking the ebony blade, try and work on the blade original katanas, like dragon bane, and make it 2 handed. since it should be a 'blade' legendary blade (no pun intended hehe) it should be the same look, as their craftmanship from those past years. I think base damages should be daedric but swing as fast as a one hand while damaging like a 2 handed greatsword, cause it's legen... wait for it... dary! ^^

@Archturis Hmm, I am not sure if I can help you with that but I will look into it.
I improved the weapon at a station with full enchanting and blacksmithing with highest smithing enchanted armor with a 30% improvement potion, the blade was not improved at all, it stayed at a static 50 damage.
Also, the enchant is a bit weak, if you can raise the charge count it would be awesome!
