i suppose you used that turbine inf gen?
Dedelblute3 25 Sep, 2019 @ 2:57pm
Also how did you get infinite power?
Dedelblute3 25 Sep, 2019 @ 2:56pm
It got broken :C

I cant get the thing to go up...
Dedelblute3 15 Sep, 2019 @ 10:08am
Can I use this for a train?

Updated with (unfortunately) slightly longer arms and higher props. Gonna keep playing with the design but at least it's flyable with vehicle damage on now!

Ah! Thank you Malin for the clarification, I have been playing with damage off - let me see if I can tweak it to correct for this.

I think I know what the problem is. When vehicle damage is on, the drone behaves erratically and breaks some rotor blades on start-up. When vehicle damage is off, the drone behaves just fine.

Hrm, really strange that you are still having problems! I just subbed to it myself and selected it from the Workshop within the workbench, takes off just fine and has no issues. Not sure what the problem is :(

it seems to just be a problem with the robotic pivots, as they freak the hell out and bend outwards in ways that should not be possible, ill try waiting for a bit after the light turns green to see if that helps at all
EightHook37 10 Sep, 2019 @ 3:58pm
just tried that, i'l try messing around with it to get it to work if you don't mind, i really want this thing to work because its cool as hell lol

Make sure that the "Flight Ready" light is green before starting the rotors, this guy uses an infinite power gen, so if you start the rotors before the gen has hit peak power, the gyros freak out. Let me know if that helps! I'm at work atm but will verify it's working properly tonight.

Not sure what the issue is, it seems when i start the rotors the rear right rotor immediately hits the ground, then it starts spinning like crazy until i turn off the rotors
EightHook37 10 Sep, 2019 @ 2:52pm
Nope, all of my trim settings are 0
mattarang  [author] 10 Sep, 2019 @ 2:41pm
Hrm that doesn't sound right! I wonder if I messed up some wiring when I last updated it. You don't have the yaw trim accidentally set do you?

Am i doing something wrong? i love the design everything by the way, but as soon as it starts up it starts spinning wildly fast to the right, causing blades to break and it eventually crashing
