Updated for the current version (it's really just a matter of changing a number in a text file)

I went ahead and gave the audio files a quality check too.

Elkstone 14 Dec, 2021 @ 5:39pm
Isn't this basically what happens if The Contingency take over?
KittenHasWares 29 Mar, 2021 @ 6:26am
well.... this is now my favourite Advisor, you should definitely make a scarier or more psychopathic version for us xenophobes ;)
SPECTRA  [author] 23 Mar, 2021 @ 8:20am
It's always nice when someone actually gets the joke :steamhappy:
Jay! 23 Mar, 2021 @ 1:42am
I despise how ominously psychopathic this advisor probably is. seems.

I love it.
SPECTRA  [author] 5 Mar, 2021 @ 8:33pm
I do kinda love how much this mod creeps some people out, I might actually make a scarier version just for the hell of it.
SPECTRA  [author] 5 Mar, 2021 @ 8:32pm
Please enjoy.... quietly. :tgrin:
Kaizan 6 Jan, 2021 @ 12:34am

SheTheTDE 31 Aug, 2020 @ 12:30am
I wasn't sure but "space corgis are best corgis" sold me and I am going to use this.
Praquenomes 14 Aug, 2020 @ 9:28pm
i love it
FortuneHost 24 Jun, 2020 @ 1:45pm
Clicked on this for a laugh but when I clicked on the audio samples I realized this would be PERFECT for a disturbing horror-genre kind of empire. Soft, impassionate, possibly quasi-paranormal. It would be chilling for a space villain, I think.
Living Trash Head 6 Jun, 2020 @ 1:09pm
It does indeed work fine in 2.7.2. Thanks so much. :-)
Antares93 2 Jun, 2020 @ 10:36am
This is not ASMR, this is annoying. Bob Ross is ASMR. As a matter of fact, can you make a space Bob Ross advisor? xD
SPECTRA  [author] 2 Jun, 2020 @ 2:07am
Ahh great to hear!
蟹状星云 1 Jun, 2020 @ 7:00pm
Just played once,in 2.7 it's okay.
Totally Innocent Chatbot 19 May, 2020 @ 11:49pm
Seems to be working fine for me in 2.7.1...
Living Trash Head 28 Apr, 2020 @ 11:58am
So sad it doesn't work in 2.6.3 - really enjoyed the mod. There are many bugs in 2.6.3 and I'm puzzled as to why it was released. Reloading with 2.6.2 unfortunately breaks other mods, so I hope the issue is fixed within the main branch. Thank you so much, for this mod.
SPECTRA  [author] 21 Apr, 2020 @ 4:52pm
Thank you so much for your expertise Zenithas, it's very much appreciated. I'll leave my mods up and hope something gets fixed, I've shot a few questions to paradox support on the off chance they might reply.
Zenithas 21 Apr, 2020 @ 1:26am
Alright. It's on Stellaris' end, and it seems to be to do with the new origins setup, but while I don't have a direct fix, I do have a small bit of workaround hope.

If you created your empire in 2.6.2, and selected this adviser, it carries in 2.6.3 playthroughs.

If you didn't create it in 2.6.2, you can load the edition up for Stellaris manually in Steam (right click on Stellaris, select "Properties", then the "Betas" tab, then 2.6.2 Verne, as shown http://prntscr.com/s35l60 here). Stellaris will then have a short update.

Load the game, edit and then save the empire with the appropriate adviser, then log back out.

Open Stellaris' properties again, revert the beta option to "Opt Out". Stellaris will update again.

Start your new game with the empire you had saved, and the ASMR adviser is operating.
Zenithas 20 Apr, 2020 @ 8:06am
I'll take a look. Been a hard week for work, so not as much free time as I'd have liked.
SPECTRA  [author] 17 Apr, 2020 @ 1:56pm
So with 2.6.3 I don't even have the option to choose an advisor voice at empire creation, despite having every DLC installed, with no modes turned on. This is kinda making it hard to fix my mods. I'll be honest, ever since 2.4 i've been encountering quirky bugs like this that are really souring my love for this game.

SPECTRA  [author] 17 Apr, 2020 @ 12:18pm
Hey there, the recent updates seem to keep breaking advisor voice mods, i'm not really sure why since the files are fairly simple. I'm taking a look, but I can seem to get it to show up for me either. If this keeps happening with every minor update I may have to consider pulling down my mods.
Zenithas 16 Apr, 2020 @ 5:44pm
Sorry to bother, but this just stopped working for me after the last Stellaris update; not only is there no entry on my list, there's nowhere for it to be on the list. http://prntscr.com/s0vfof as example.

Reinstalling hasn't helped, nor moving this mod to the end of the queue. I can take a look at fixing it myself a bit later, but my queue's already pretty heavy.
Toomadtoplay 13 Mar, 2020 @ 8:33pm
@赵小云 noice
SPECTRA  [author] 13 Mar, 2020 @ 2:34pm
赵小云 - Thank you so much! It should be working now! :singingsheslime::pinkheart::pinkheart:
蟹状星云 13 Mar, 2020 @ 3:24am
Found the fault. It's in [advisor_voice_StellarisASMR.txt],ServiceBot should be StellarisASMR,change it and this mod could be seen in game.
By the way,it's in :workshop/.../1859773082/sound/advisor_voice_types.
-ROSEN 4 Mar, 2020 @ 10:21pm
thanks for your time! miss the whisper
Toomadtoplay 4 Mar, 2020 @ 10:58am
@Spectra that is both confounding and annoying, appreciate you spending the time looking into it
SPECTRA  [author] 4 Mar, 2020 @ 9:09am
Yeah I'm quite puzzled by this, absolutely nothing has changed since the previous *working* update. My local copy showed up in the game just fine, but after I tried re-uploading it to the workshop I can no longer see my local copy in game.

I'll try digging through various forums and see if i can find anyone else having a similar issue.
Toomadtoplay 4 Mar, 2020 @ 9:00am
@Spectra installed adviser bot, unsubbed/resubbed to asmr, but only adviser bot shows up in game
SPECTRA  [author] 4 Mar, 2020 @ 6:07am
Hey guys, not sure why this isn't showing up in the advisor list all of a sudden, nothing has changed since last week and it's still showing up for me. I tried reuploading, let me know if it helps? Is my other advisor mod working for you? I'll keep looking into it.
-ROSEN 3 Mar, 2020 @ 9:23pm
not a derp its broken
Toomadtoplay 2 Mar, 2020 @ 8:50pm
@Spectra thank you for the reply! that didn't seem to work unfortunately, I'll let you know if I find a solution
SPECTRA  [author] 2 Mar, 2020 @ 7:49pm
@Toomadtoplay - Try unsubscribing and re-subscribing? I've had stuff like that happen with other mods before and reinstalling the mod usually does the trick.
Toomadtoplay 2 Mar, 2020 @ 7:17pm
used to see this on my in game list, mod is still installed and even seems to be up to date but doesn't appear in game? am i derp?
蟹状星云 28 Dec, 2019 @ 6:03pm

How did that teapot get into orbit? And yes the worm really does love us....as man loves cows on a burger.
SPECTRA  [author] 30 Oct, 2019 @ 7:47am
@VoidFish - Why is anything a thing? How did that teapot get in orbit? Does the worm really love us? The universe is full of mysteries... :helloween:
