Additionally, I am officially placing both of my TPD mods on hiatus. There's a lot going on in my life right now that's draining a lot of energy from me and I just simply do not have the drive to update any of my trailer mods right now. In all honesty, I'm giving thought to just simply closing my trailer mods altogether. There are other trailer mods that do what I do to an equal, lesser, or even greater extent. My trailer mods, while relatively simple in what's done to make them work, are tedious for me to update/maintain. With other better mods out there, I don't even use my own trailer mods anymore.
Regardless of what happens, it's been a great time. I'm glad I could bring some additional joy to this game for so many of you with my simple mods. I wish all of you the best, and safe travels.
(Posted in reverse order because of how Steam comments are orientated so that it appears as one long comment rather than two)
You may want to check out Big B's & Axles and Expanded Trailer Combinations & it's companion mod No State Restrictions - Expanded Trailer Combinations Add On all by Gdog900. His mods may have that combo somewhere in them.
cheers.
So, the main issue for me is pushing past that initial slog of updating the main mod. Once the main mod is done, the TMP version isn't as bad to do. I can't say when I'll get around to updating the B-Double mods, but I do promise they WILL get updated eventually.
Safe travels,
~Luna
If you're wondering if this mod & its TMP counterpart were abandoned, the answer is... Technically, no. They are abandoned in the sense that I just don't have the drive/energy to update them after making updates to my TPD mods. However, this doesn't mean I won't ever update them again.
Updating these combo mods takes a lot of energy out of me. I try & put a fair amount of effort & detail into them, namely custom UI icons for each combo. While they're not at all difficult to make, they are tedious & a little time consuming. Definition file work, the primary part of the mods that makes them even work as they are to begin with, is especially tedious & can easily begin to grate on the mind. The TMP Nationwide versions aren't as draining to do. They're as simple as changing a few words in each combo file & renaming each file. Significantly less work than making the main mod. 1/2
{ https://abstrailquip.com/image/catalog/truck_combinations.JPG } for TMP, anyway Thanks for your time
The mod is fully compatible with 1.41 and does not need updating. I will, however, be updating the mod description to mark any necessary notes regarding Convoy mode and my mods.
Please check back later, maybe several hours from now, as the Convoy mode notes being added to the description will be important to read.
@AngelsBreath As the title and description would suggest, yes. You can use them on TMP. The mod was made with TMP compatibility in mind.
IMHO though, they should have made them ownable with Utah, since they made so much of a point about Utah having an oil industry, and included Frac Tanks as a Freight Market load... Plenty of Chemso and Gallon Oil prefabs through the map to support ownable tankers. :/ But, oh well. Hopefully in the future they do make them ownable, and hopefully they'll have the proper chassis' needed for inclusion in my mods.
