One of the best Ravage scenarios I played, could be THE best if not for the last part. I liked it being a thriller rather than a horror, really enjoyed the concept of clues and bunkers were great. I guess it could benefit more if looking for clues required checking multiple spots within a location rather than picking up a note, but on the other hand it helps with the lack of voices. What I didn't like is that typical Ravage "walk from one map end to the other with no storytelling other than zombies and random enemies" thing that I despise and the car is taken away abruptly and without warning, I had a lot of cool guns there and I ended up with a bad one looted from one of the Jerries. Enemy AI always headshots you with G43 but I guess it's an ifa3 bug.

this is the only working mission now, and for those who can't get in the driver seat, jump in the boat and walk to the ramp, and you should see the option

Scenario still works until you try and get in the rescue boat as driver and cannot. Good mission spoilt by the ending.

I get to the very end and I get in the boat, but I can't get in the driver's seat.

Also - The IFA3_AIO_LITE mod listed here is gone, but it works if you get the one called 'IFA3 AIO'

Hey Mauseri, I'm checking out all your missions again to see if they still work and I discovered I never actually played this one, though I thought I had. I can report it still works perfectly, as far as I can tell. It's certainly a well made mission. I normally hate playing missions in the dark but this one was worth it. I also played Only the Strong again and that is working fine. The Sheriff is not working. I'll go and see what else is left to try. There are no good Ravage missions coming out and so it's all old ones for me. Thanks for this one!

I just checked out my statistics for this scenario... after a loooooooong time, and I realized there has been over a thousand (1487, as I'm writing this June 20th 2021) downloads.

I do realize that it is not all that much in comparison to some other popular scenario editors, but to me, this is kind of a big deal, and it is WAY more than I ever expected. I still remember the joy I felt when my first upload went over a 100 downloads 8)

So I just... well... wanted to thank you all. And I really do mean it... Thank you all.

I kinda quit the whole arma scene a while back, but maybe, just maybe I'll do another scenario... I kinda have this thing on my mind I maybe might want to try, and as I have a lot of time in my hands right now I just might give it a shot...

Well, anyway, a really big Thank You to all you people downloading this!!!! Really means a lot to me!!!

As there seems to be a IFA3-bug with the latest updates: would you mind updating the mission to change the explosives from WW2 Satchel/TNT to Arma3 default "Explosives"?

Because IFA3 explosives cannot be placed at the moment; no idea when they release a fix for that...

In the main bunker, there is an intel file...
on one of the beds in the "scientist" section (the room next to the cells)

Did I miss the aforementioned bunker and would I've found a needed key in there?

I'm now in the main bunker and there seem to be two "Intel" behind locked doors and I just don't know where I'd get the keys from....

1 inside the cell, the other in the locked room next to the radio

Q: did anyone ever find the Bunker in "Maahelli"?

on the beach I did see the light of the guard tower, which told me to got to the very south; maybe that's what should happen, or did I "jump" over some story elements?

Terrific work with the map, took me 3 hours and 40 minutes to beat the chuffing thing, but I certainly enjoyed every second of it. Very well done!

Bugger, I ran out of fuel. There has to be some fuel on the Island somewhere for the jeep surely? Very enjoyable so far.

Maclowa thanks this was a fun setting to work with... but I'm afraid it was a one-off. Real hard to find terrains REALLY suitable for ww2 times... Well there are the IFA terrains, but much of the terrain content (houses and such) look so outdated... maybe one day If I find a suitable terrain and have an idea for the plot, I'll make another WW2 ravage mission, but for now, this was it.

Very cool, I hope you will do more missions in such a setting. As for me, there are few scenarios about the Second World War with zombies, and only this scenario about the Soviets with zombies. Well ... Good luck in your endeavors and incubations tovarish.

Really enjoyed it and the fact that you had to be patient and look around as-well as read everything to uncover the mystery yourself, instead of it just being pointed out to you.

I initially had the same problem with the boat, but you're right, just go to the front of the boat (where the guard is) and you'll be able to drive it just fine.

It was a really long journey and from the beginning to the end with drama and excitement. Really good. Only small drop of bitterness was I couldn't drive the boat.

Absolutely amazing mission. I'm thoroughly impressed. The writing is good, the story is interesting and the gameplay is unexpected and really draws you in. Love it.
