I really liked this vehicle, I have a question whether you will upgrade it to the current version of the game?

It was the fuel tank. I moved it to the location where the second constructor lived (after I patched that hole) - not the one by the pilot seat. Put a generic composite block to close the hole in the floor and put the T2 CPU on top of that. All nice and tight, now : ) Fix for the T1 will probably be similar, move the fuel tank and patch the floor hole. Thought it was worth the time, since I really like the idea of the Relay in ice world start. Having an "upgrade" path helps extend its viability. Had no idea how effective those simple HV turrets could be against solo drones that seem to camp at every ore deposit. I took some substantial damage from a plasma drone - but only because I got "stuck" on a rock. After that mishap the only damage comes from minigun drones, while plasma and rocket drones are sitting ducks. (Hope you don't mind me tweaking your blueprints - if you like what I did / the results possibly other players can have fun on the ice world : )

Just an update / fyi: started a new game on frozen world based on your workshop creations. Stripped down this guy (removed a constructor, the haversters and the two gatling guns) and could only get it down to about 6700 vs. 5000 for T1. But would have needed to remove the second constructor or both turrets to get it below 5000, which would have made it pretty useless (at least for the purpose you designed it : ) Was having a pretty good time with it - it was still slow, but not in a hurry to explore and having the temp controlled interior was nice. Had just gone back to put a T2 in your original, added a third turret and med station as an "upgrade" path (since the original had taken a bit of damage from minigun drones . . . and today's update seems to have broken it. No longer air tight as fuel tank is no longer air tight (at least that is the big issue I could find - fuel tank over thruster is only area that shows up "not green" when I view airtight blocks.

Yep - the harvester was what made me think it was supposed to move <LOL> Tried to watch bits of your Stream, some hours later, but could only get random sections. Need to find a 3 hour block of time to hang out in library and watch it all to see which items got updates (saw most of the Kbar revisit, so will be looking at that blueprint : )

In a perfect world, my internet would actually allow me to watch a stream. But my real world (off-grid) cabin lacks a lot of the benefits of the 20th century, much less the 21st <LOL> I am lucky to get basic comment sections to load. If I am patient, between 3:00 AM and 4:00 I can actually download blueprints : )

P.S. - just built my Hawk (10) after I managed to gather enough cobalt from the large crashed CV. Can't wait to test it out, later this evening.

Of course you may have intended the thruster set up (more power L/R) for wood harvest, or some other reason. A12 just does a real number on "overloads" so minimal F/B thrust becomes "I am sorry Dave, I can't do that" : )

Saw some posts on your blueprints and thought I would check them out. Did notice something odd with this one (but looking more closely it may be the recent changes to Alpha 12 : (
It is way over limit for T1 CPU (which makes sense, it is not meant to be a speed demon) but the thruster report is odd. The "front" of the HV (where harvest and guns are located) does not coincide with F/B thrusters. Hard to describe, but I had very little F/B (1) and L/R was higher (3). I tried switching some things out and it seems for some reason it is rotated 90 degrees. Even tried switching the cockpit around to see if it was tied (or a bug) because of the interior placement.

I also wondered about the dual constructors, as they are 2000 each (CPU load), so I removed one and added the med bay, but still up at 8000+ CPU. It is a little more mobile (if you use 3rd person) . But I wish I could have done more to track down the bug for you (in case you are planning an A12 update.)

@XCaliber I think I figured it out, I looked at the Signal logic of the shutters and they only had AccessOuter set in the lists I put AccessInner into the second box and it started working with both switches YAY!!!

@XCaliber I really love this Hover / Drop Base Idea. I started a new play-through in survival to see if it would be useful for me. I love it except for the inside door switch. Did you find out the signal logic on this? You have to close the doors manually from the inside. The outer Switch does open / Close the door but the inside switch does nothing.

Nice build as always. I am just coming back to Empyrion after a few months off and wow it has changed a bit. Anyways how do I get the doors to shut once im inside and what does the switch on the ceiling do? Is that for the doors? I flip it and it doesnt seem to do anything. Other that that always love your builds and they are usually my staple go to vessels for all my playthrus. Plus now it almost seems like a new game since the last I played it about 4 or 5 months ago so that is exciting.
