Are you going to port this and some of your other mods to Wh3 as well?

Really liked how the chaos warrior with this mod felt and have been missing it greatly.

You are probably waiting for the chaos warrios rework before doing any work there?

Bug report here. Both the warshrine mammoths and the Tzeentch aspiring champions cannot currently be recruited as they require the building "Altar of the Bloodfathers," which is a Norsca building that Chaos hordes cannot construct.

Regardless, I decided to go at it by making Corruption actually do something to the AI. This will enable Isabella(who's only passable LL next to Vlad), Pestilens and such - might even give an unique playstyle to Harkon! Vary the game.

For corruption I decided to use "Corruption Matters" and for Chaos, I decided to use "Bring Ruin" with a mod that removes movement requirement for Camp. Still, thanks for Tides.

Did you just...? Do Tides work fine currently? That's Nakai playstyle, one of playstyles I've been advocating for Warriors of Chaos! And one of my favorite playstyles, when it works! The only problem might be how it interacts with Victory Conditions(Raze 50 Settlements).

I would get Gates of Chaos and Tides of Chaos for that, both are bandaids to the actual problem but do improve the campaign experience for both Chaos and factions fighting Chaos

Yes, the on Battlefield experience of CW is very nice with your mod. Should I want anything else, I can simply combine mods. So, within the scope of your mod, great job!

(As for Norsca, this is exactly why I always like to keep it separate from Chaos itself...maybe Berserkers or such, but Norsca itself, meh, had an entire kingdom akin to Sweden or something back in the days...Kurgan and Hung can also be made unto factions of their own ; CW should be Heavy Metal Knights + evul. Honestly? I don't think Fantasy needs an equivalent of CSM, but that's a whole another topic - at the very least, Awakening should serve some purpose - currently Moulder is more valuable than your vassals lol!)

LIke I said berserkers not being recruitable is definitely a bug, I'm looking into it now. I'm not really looking to add any new functionality to this mod either, the Aspiring Champions update is the last addition I made and I think the mod is in a good place with that, at least until Chaos and Norsca get overhauled in game 3.

As for Norsca, its a mess tbh thats something CA needs to tackle, I don't think a modder is able to fix that faction. It needs a full overhaul its severely outdated and just not fun to play in Mortal Empires.

What about zerks? Also, do you have any thoughts on the "Awaken the Tribes" part? Also, what are your thoughts about how your mod impacts Norsca?

Thats definitely a bug, I'll see if I can fix that. As for Marks of Chaos I have actually considered adding those, but decided against it as its been done by so many other modders. I only wanted to add the content I liked and that wasn't done by others, or at least do it differently than others. This mod uses all vanilla unit sets and buildings, so it should be compatible with every other chaos mod out there, including those that add Marks of Chaos.

Also, why don't I have access to Berserkers in the campaign? While playing Sigvald, I also couldn't recruit the War Shrine Mammoth(it kept saying "building required: Chaos Rift", so I built it, but it still kept saying that. I mean,I can always use Sorcerers, but this is surely bugged, no?

Hey, a nice idea(as usual for you). But does it help their campaign any? So enemies don't just resettle?

My only problem is...what's the point of Norsca with your mod available? Because now this feels awesome. Add in Marks of Chaos as scrap and...yeah. Makes Norsca 100% obsolete.

Great job(as usual)! (all Maras fully benefit from Sig's Redux...makes for a fun time with a simple change and makes Sig actually useful!)

I may have found an issue with the mod, or it could be with the game itself. But it seems the Naggoroth invasion, while arriving on the map, is just completely inert.

Is that the mod or could it be from the game itself?

Also there is a scripted mechanic that causes chaos to auto win 50% of the time, (100% for Archy, Sarthy, and Kholek). This makes it so they ai has even more trouble holding back Chaos and the player should really be the only one who can stop them. I'll add MCM support next patch so this value can be adjusted

Could you crank it up furter or give the ability to choose how many chaos armies spawn? Its t86 in my current campaign but have the feeling Archeon isnt gonna last all that long in the end :(

As a side note if you do want to make your own changes to this mod, download Rusted Pack File Manager, open up the !_nanu_chaos_redone packfile (its stored in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\594570\1864588681 on your pc) and then open up the script folder, find the wh_chaos_invasion.lua script, and then change the local ci_max_num_hordes values to higher numbers (its at the top, so it'll be easy to find). This value controls how many armies spawn during the chaos invasion, the first list is for before Archaon shows up, and the second is after he does

I'm tinkering with an experimental version that doesn't overwrite the whole chaos invasion script but rather overwrites certain parts of it. Unfortunately CA made all of the chaos variables local, which in laymans terms means the parts of the script that control the number of armies and spawn points cant be changed from the outside. I can however overwrite certain functions, and depending on how the 20 times chaos mod works I can possible make it compatible

I'm really looking forward to your update on mod. The mechanism of this mod is really excellent, but it can't be used with 20 times chaos, which makes the difficulty far from meeting my needs. I need a more powerful chaos force to defeat the imperial army. In the process of using this mod, although it will cause some troubles to the Empire, it is the vampire army that will defeat the Empire in the end. Or challenge my empire enough.
Therefore, if there are 20 times or 50 times mod version, please update it in time.

Update coming soon, Mixu found a way to increase horde size from 20 to 40, I'm running a test campaign to make sure everything goes as planned. Once it comes out Good Luck

I love this mod very much, but the difficulty of this mod can not satisfy my friends and me.
I need more chaos, like 20 times and 50 times the amount of chaos in this version.

Probably, the bulk of this mod is an overhaul of the vanilla chaos invasion so it should work in multiplayer as the original does.

There are other scripts in this mod that likely won’t work in multiplayer but none of them are imperative to the mods function, just extra things going on in the background

GOOD mood! thank you. Can you make a mod that makes the dark forces stronger and more aggressive? For example, increase the aggressiveness of vampires and orcs, collect taxes, and recruit more troops. I'm tired of being full of empires and dwarf later in the world.
