Another one is located in Black Scratch, the third should be in World's End but it has not been implemented yet.
I would not be surprised since I patched it without testing. Be sure that the other mod is loaded before this one.
I'm going to fix it for good with the big update anyway. Thank you for your report tho :)
Thanks for the quick respond.
I did some testing on my own and I realized that the mod works just fine even with the message. The real mod that doesn't work for me is the Idle animation mod, but I'm not sure what is the reason for that.
Probably is due to the patches included inside. Thank you for your feedback, I'm going to fix that immediately.
Anyway even if you get that message you can start your game as always, those missing mods are some animation mods which you don't have installed but taht will not compromise in any way your gameplay. If it finds the animation mods those are applied to the new races, otherwise nothing will happen.
Anyway, a big update is coming with 2 all new faces for males and 2 for females. I've also improved the base eye textures and added new colours.
There will be 7 different faces for each sex in 8 different eye colour each.
I would really appreciate if you can help me because I really love this mod. Thanks.
Yeah it's an easy task. The mod now should automatically catch those animation files (which must be loaded before this mod).
BTW for anyone who's handy with FCS (or texturing, modeling, etc) and wants to join the development of this one, I would be glad to share this project with all of you.
In that case write here on comments or DM me and eventually I'll start a dedicated Discord server.
Sick thanks man. I actually ended up just patching it myself but I will go test this quick and see if it worked.
If you don't use the mentioned animation mods there will be no issue so those mods are not required. Let me know if it works, I don't have the chance to test it.
Probably not, but you know what? I'm going to update this right now.
Thank you, I appreciate your support. Actually working on some brand new textures which will be part of a custom lore-friendly race.
Unfortunately the amount of work needed is a lot for just one person, so it takes time.
I'm going to use Genesis as "resource" due to the huge amount of stuff I can use (hairs, faces, clothing, etc). I also want to keep it as a standalone, but that version will lack a lot of content and will be updated much more frequently.
I'm going to update this mod with the latest I own, but I have to check out few "personal modifications" I did which may compromise game balance.
I'm glad to know that someone's enjoying my work, feel free to give your feeback and suggestions.
Would love a standalone of this so much, keep up the good work Marrabas
Got it.
I would like to get it separately and would really appreciate it, good luck creating this mod, it is sorely lacking
Hello, I'm actually working on this mod to improve it and enhance it and probably I'm going to reupload it since I've lost this precise mod folder. I actually have a copy of it, which is what I use in my gameplay and it has built-in patches for MCA and also other animation mods (no problems if you don't have them installed, races will use those animation modules only if installed).
The "new" mod is going to be built for Genesis but I could make a copy without those features to work as a standalone.
You're welcome :)
They're not exclusive of The Swamp area, moreover I didn't like that name. At the time I was developing the idea I also considered to call them Mudlanders but I ended up calling them Islanders (also considering future plans).
Well, if I put some other's content in a mod at least I should give him credits. You stuff is awsome, I'll add it for sure in some further mod :)
@The Maw
First of all, thank you for your feedback and sorry for being late with the reply. I'm updating this mod right now and I'll include this nerf in the fixes (Clifflanders will also be nerfed to keep them "softer" than Shek).
About splitting up appearence and stats, I prefer to keep this one like this; eventually, I could release a patch to keep vanilla stats like that if the fixes still don't fit your (and probably others) experience.
I definitely like the extra faces though, would it be possible to have a separate mod for the extra face customisation without the extra races + stat edits?
Yeah, that's from OMOCHI's Patchwork Armour. I asked you permission to use some of your mods in a personal project I was working for, but probably you don't remember it.
I used few mods in these screenshots that I would like to patch to add some new factions (and improve variety as well).
Yes, I released some patches mor most animation mods available and some other stuff as well (textures, hairstyles, etc.)
A list of the avaible patches is here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1866218604
I already have a background (plus in-game description) for each of those and their spawn areas too are strictly related to that. I'm going to add that content along with the three new unique recruits.
Unfortunately I had some extra work to do, but an update will be out soon.
If you load that mod below KKO Races it should work without patches. Give a try and let me know.
Nope, the vanilla unique recruits are untouched. As Greenlanders or Scorchlanders they just get the new stats.
The new races spawn only on non-unique NPCs/recruits.
@A Kenshi
It's designed to be as much compatible as possible with other mods, in the worst scenario you could miss some feature on my custom races (animations, hairstyles, etc).
In any case if you find any conflict I will patch that, just let me know.
