应用场景:1.气压服检查站下防漏尿。2.当作个不会过热的固定1kg的液泵,无脑开发各种火山。

No option to disable the drain

这玩意我只能想到在天然气发电机下面多铺一层保持美观,有点鸡肋

if you read the description above:
"If you tick the Use Solid Drain in the mod settings, you can have the drain act less like a mesh tile and more like a wall pump."
Fooliscious 3 Oct, 2024 @ 10:23am
Doesn't work, liquids fall through the tile, and its offset a bit as well in terms of position when built. An update would be awesome to help with seal farms

Oh I was searching for this and is very outdated, do this work on Frosty pack?
Malloreon 20 Jul, 2024 @ 3:26am
Any ideas how on to fix this mod for current game-version (Frosty Planet Pack)?
kuxynator 9 Apr, 2024 @ 8:30pm
@kahlzun There is a "Gas Vent Input". but I can't remember which mod that comes from. LOL I have too many.

排水砖不太好用,是有实体的砖块,而不是透明的,但是水不会积压在上面,导致水会向下一层建筑渗透。排水砖下面还要铺一层实体砖。当前区域有建筑物,会无法建造排水砖
Drainage bricks are not very useful, they are solid bricks rather than transparent ones, but water will not accumulate on them, causing water to penetrate the next floor of the building. A layer of solid bricks should also be laid below the drainage bricks. There are buildings in the current area, so it is not possible to build drainage bricks
kahlzun 11 Nov, 2023 @ 7:57pm
@furf new buildings have their temperatures "capped" at 45 degrees. This can lead to some heat deletion if you set things up correctly.
kahlzun 11 Nov, 2023 @ 12:25am
is there anything like this for gases?
The_furf_of_July 6 Nov, 2023 @ 3:46pm
Wait does that mean you can make it out of superheated metal to run a steam engine off of it?
kahlzun 5 Nov, 2023 @ 9:53pm
I've tested what Allarionn said and in debug mode they stay a constant 20 degrees, even when surrounded by solid hydrogen, so presumably it is the temperature of what its made out of
Tenth 6 Oct, 2023 @ 3:02am
Thanks for the great mod! Looks like it needs an update for the current version.
Allarionn 7 Aug, 2023 @ 5:25pm
Love the mod, it is very functional in most applications and a must have. You may have seen the word most in there... and I mean this as much as an FYI for anyone else reading: The drains stay a constant 45C, they do not adjust to their environment, BUT this is a one way relationship.

They can flash things like Liquid Oxygen/Hydrogen to a gas even while not losing any heat, just a solid 45C even in the deep freeze of my LH/LOX machine lmao. Take this for what you will but it is something to bear in mind for your own applications :steamhappy:

Hi again! Sorry for the confusion.. I came back after a long time of oni being continually updated and mods not working, etc.. I finally got around to fixing all my mods and what must have happened is that the mod config got changed to non-solid by default and I didn't see it when I started up my base again. I had seen everything was leaking all over the place and when I checked, I was like this can't be right. I just asked my friend who I was playing with (we play the same seed) and he was like yea you always used the solid one and HE was using the non-solid with a block around it to suck up the liquid. Thanks for the reply and help :) All good now.
crashfly 25 Apr, 2023 @ 8:32pm
@danteswrath - that is the point of the non solid drain. you would have to surround that non solid drain with other tiles so that the liquid is sucked up.
danteswrath 25 Apr, 2023 @ 8:24pm
Hi.. It seems that the non-solid one is the one that isn't working.. if I go into the settings and change it to solid, it works. Otherwise the liquid just falls through the tile.
crashfly 25 Apr, 2023 @ 5:24pm
@danteswrath - have you forced an update with a mod manager?
it works fine for me on vanilla. otherwise, a vague reporting of it not working is not going to resolve your issue. it is all about the details.
danteswrath 25 Apr, 2023 @ 5:21pm
doesn't seem to be working for me either :( would humbly like to request a fix please
Neosuduno 8 Apr, 2023 @ 4:19pm
I also would not want power. It is not fast enough to need it.
crashfly 8 Apr, 2023 @ 10:13am
to me, i think requiring power is overkill. the drains are useful in situations where power would be inconvenient or difficult to get there. and the fact that it is also rather slow definitely offsets the power requirement.
Janek 8 Apr, 2023 @ 9:51am
I vouch for the required power.
Beesafree 2 Apr, 2023 @ 11:02am
Could you add an option to make it require power? like maybe 15w? I feel a bit guilty using these. or maybe require them to use plastic? something a bit extra... i guess they require 1 fourth the material a pump does, and requires 100 to match the performance of a pump. maybe that's enough. love this mod, keep up the great work
Godfrey 1 Apr, 2023 @ 1:04pm
Seems not usable right now, fix plz
Dazz Aephiex 8 Dec, 2022 @ 6:14am
It is still working for me.
Enlonwhite 27 Nov, 2022 @ 8:55pm
Does this still work at this time? the last updated didnt break it?
Modified Shopkeep 16 Jun, 2022 @ 3:14am
Does the drain let any gasses through? I'm assuming no but have to ask. I put my petroleum generators in a sealed box and would like the carbon dioxide to stay inside. The mesh tile lets the water out and the carbon dioxide out. This would be the perfect mod for this application.
Jomil 12 Jun, 2022 @ 10:00pm
@jrharris

1 The solid option determines if water goes through the block or sits on top, it is always a solid block tho

2 Just set a pipe lower than the drain and have each one output There, its not as clean but it works
jrharris42 7 Jun, 2022 @ 4:43am
Can we have an option where the drain has priority over water coming in from the pipe, so if you have a wet floor and a loop of liquid, the floor water will go in before what's coming in the pipe?
tuordiel 10 May, 2022 @ 8:27pm
Still work somehow despite the people said earlier
Curious Fox 8 May, 2022 @ 8:07pm
@jrharris42 It's for making liquids fall 'onto' the drains. Not 'through' the drains. Dupe interaction doesn't change.
jrharris42 8 May, 2022 @ 6:04am
I have "use solid drain" off, but the drain is still behaving like a solid. Like, my dupes can't walk through it. Is that correct?
Pandita...xD 2 Mar, 2022 @ 11:01pm
now it doesnt even show the previously built drains too, it converts them back to the materials they were built of.
Stungun 27 Feb, 2022 @ 7:47pm
Most mods that add buildings got broken in this way with the update, unfortunately, and need updating of their own. Thanks, Klei.
Theone 27 Feb, 2022 @ 10:14am
yes no longer showing in build menu but it is in research

Last update broke many mods. Moded content dosn't appear in building menus.
Hoiyen 26 Feb, 2022 @ 10:26pm
the drain tile do not show on plumbing, im playing spacing out. the tile is showing on research though. but when I research it, the tile do not shows up. anyone know what happened?. thank you
Hotstuff5743 21 Feb, 2022 @ 6:39pm
Love the mod just wish we had the option in game to build both an open bottom & a closed bottom drain. I find myself using this mod for both a non-electrical pump as well as a drain for my reservoir. Problem is if i use it in a res i have to have the closed bottom drain but sometimes i want to use this mod to drain a pocket of water or other type of liquid to another part of my asteroid and i need an open bottom but can't build it cuz i've got the closed bottom enabled in the mod options.

This is a game changer. Thank you for creating this. :cozybethesda:
spectrum.ver.x 27 Dec, 2021 @ 9:46pm
Sorry - I didn't mean for my comment to seem curt or terse. LOL. Message me for any details. They seem dynamic down to 20C. I haven't tested the upper bound.
spectrum.ver.x 27 Dec, 2021 @ 6:30pm
no matter how much chill I throw in the room, the drains stop cooling at 20C
Luna 18 Dec, 2021 @ 6:42pm
plz update

Bordo Bereli 6 Dec, 2021 @ 1:28pm
the problem of drains is on the space, water get lost
KittenCanaveral 6 Dec, 2021 @ 5:01am
you can also chose the solid drain option, but the blocks under seems a bit more legit.
Curious Fox 30 Nov, 2021 @ 10:14pm
Put tiles below the drain of course.
berkyjay 30 Nov, 2021 @ 2:45pm
How exactly is this supposed to work? I put some of these tiles under a Natural Gas Generator to catch the polluted water. But the water falls right through it.
