Just here to say the bug where Ahiram can still move the capital is still a thing- and that his Settlers do not disembark with +2 sight and movement. Otherwise this is a great Phoenicia leader imo.

Well that's not good. I'll patch this eventually
miramorousical 10 Jan, 2024 @ 5:23pm
figured. i was just wondering when i saw it in the available projects
Captain Lime  [author] 9 Jan, 2024 @ 3:10pm
Given how that is Dido's ability, no.
miramorousical 7 Jan, 2024 @ 7:43pm
is he supposed to still be able to swap capitals like dido?
Pyrocrates1 17 Oct, 2023 @ 5:06am
Ahiram kinda looks handsome and hot
Captain Lime  [author] 28 Mar, 2021 @ 10:27am
It was, yes

The mod support file of Ahiram contains only TSL for "CIVILIZATION_LIME_SOMALIA", not for Ahiram. I guess it's a mistake and was copied from there
alborzka 22 Oct, 2020 @ 9:08am
Ah, that would explain why he spawns in Somalia lmao. I'll change his values to Byblos then.
Captain Lime  [author] 15 Oct, 2020 @ 9:25am
It was not
alborzka 15 Oct, 2020 @ 9:19am
Just FYI your ModSupport.sql file lists values for CIVILIZATION_LIME_SOMALIA instead of CIVILIZATION_PHOENICIA, not sure if that's intentional?

@circeus Oops yeah I think the Great Merchant bonus applied for a few turns but then it went away. No idea how or why that's happening.
circeus 17 Oct, 2019 @ 2:36pm
I'm not saying the problem isn't with a mod interaction (I do have 80+ of them going on there...), but I figured I gotta say it if only so other people can tell me it's working fine for them ^_^;;
Captain Lime  [author] 17 Oct, 2019 @ 8:17am
shit

No matter how I look at it, I don't seem to be getting the extra science from Great Merchant... The only thing that increased my libraries' output was Hypatia
démentios 25 Sep, 2019 @ 11:40am
The real king of phoenicia. Dido is relevant for Carthage but Ahiram is better to represent Phoenicia itself
MarsEco 24 Sep, 2019 @ 11:58pm
Great concept, but i would remove the science from Merchant Pts. It's OP just reading about it, especially with how their out of territory trade routes work. Secondly, it's tied to just needing to build a single 'library' as i hope they don't stack because that would be extra broke! Literally just remove that and it's far more balanced. If you wanted, have Royal Tombs either grant +1 Merchant Pt per turn or better, something to do with Tourism later in the game, since you will still get a good 2-5 on average gold per turn, plus the lack of maintance cost since it is earning you income. Or something like, Royal Tombs earn more sci or culture or gold from having adjacent Commercial Hubs and/or Entertainment Districts. It is still a very powerful CIV even if you removed this secondary Royal Tomb bonus.

lovely bonus with a neat lil balance tweak ! Thanks a lot for keeping the game fresh
More of this please :)

Oh, this looks great. Thank you so much for your hard work -- especially for consistently stepping outside the box for your civs. It makes things really fun.
Thomber_ 20 Sep, 2019 @ 5:33pm
Thanks I love Otto and would love him in civ
Max 20 Sep, 2019 @ 5:16pm
That pun killed me
MladoTouan 20 Sep, 2019 @ 12:38pm
Otto already exists for Germany, search for "Gedemo Bismarck".
It works with the September update.
Thomber_ 20 Sep, 2019 @ 12:33pm
I still do think a Prussian/German dual civ leader would be cool.
Thomber_ 20 Sep, 2019 @ 12:32pm
Oh ok that’s fine thanks for the replie tho. :)
Captain Lime  [author] 20 Sep, 2019 @ 12:02pm
I do not do commissions.
Thomber_ 20 Sep, 2019 @ 11:46am
What would you say to me commissioning you to make a civ Im ready to pay and have a great idea and just need someone to get the idea of the ground?
Thomber_ 19 Sep, 2019 @ 6:48pm
Great new leader would love a possible Otto Von Bismarck.
MladoTouan 19 Sep, 2019 @ 11:52am
It's always great to get new leaders for vanilla civs, thank you!
Griffinton 19 Sep, 2019 @ 7:53am
Nice.
Captain Lime  [author] 19 Sep, 2019 @ 7:22am
Precisely
Leugi 19 Sep, 2019 @ 6:29am
So, does he die after building his tomb until someone discovers archaeology?
