Nice idea, pretty fun overall, just wanted to place the first back hook shot section closer to check point

Fun map that brings back some Super Mario Sunshine secret level vibes. Good checkpoint placements for when you get to the tricky part but the last part is kinda finicky. GJ on making a decent time rift <3

Challenges are creative but the level is way too shiny, hurts the eyes.

Nice little challenge, sadly a little rough around the edges that lead to frustration (last real hookshot jump I'm looking at you). Don't know why people are complaining about the visuals, it's a neat mix-up compared to the usual time rifts.

The secret to making the backflip is waiting a few seconds while on the hook because bonking against the wall actually gives you a little more momentum . There y'all go.

Why this was added to cahllenge road? The backwards hook trick is very unintuitive and these oversaturated colour just hurting eyes while you are tring to beat that very annoying part of the level.

Shouldn't need to be recompiled, there hasn't been an update to the game that would required that. Maybe its a mod you have installed?

Overall a good map but a couple of things let it down such as the oversaturated colour, and then the backwards hookshot - ask yourself if it's fair to punish a player via bottomless pit if they do not get it right the first time around. At least give a little wiggle room/margin for error.

The platforming challenges were really neat, but the camera was seriously annoying at times. The orange aesthetics were incredible, though!

Another thing I noticed, which is a bug with the game itself, rather than the map, is that you do not gain momentum if you use your hookshot after dashing mid-air (pressing ctrl), instead Hat Kid just falls down instantly once you let go. It took me a while to figure out why they weren't working properly.

The hookshot bit was brilliant. I loved it. However, the bright colours did start to hurt my eyes after a bit, and visibility was to the point I had to turn gamma/contrast down. But, yet again, I loved it.

I loved the concept of this map. I can see how you put a lot of time an effort in to this, but I just want to say that if someone has epilepsy, do not play this level. Also, there were a lot of camera issues where I would land on a gear platform and it pulled a 180 on me with a flash and I would fall off. Other than that, I wish you good luck in your future mapmaking!

Very fun map! It was challenging to figure out some of the areas but not stupid difficult. After I figured out the hookshot parts, it was actually a lot of fun to swing around like that. :pon:

Yeah, looking back the "leap of faith" stuff your talking about was kinda dumb on my part lol. And yeah the camera could be better on some of the hookshot parts, and I probably could have taught the backwards hookshot thing a bit better. There's a lot I could improve on with this level, but i'm glad you enjoyed it anyway!

Clever trick there with the hookshot, took me a bit to figure it out, but like a buffoon I kept trying the same thing over and over never thinking to do it a different way.

One problem is the camera sometimes feeling like it doesn't give you enough space to look around, maybe make that hookshot thing a bit easier to figure out, and then afterwards just being a bit of a leap of faith hooking to other parts.

Still, great for something made in just a week! :skyelaugh:

This is one of my newest favourite mod levels! I quite like how creative it was with the backward jumping using the hookshot. It wasn't maddening to play and it was very pleasant all around.

I used a sky dye while playing it and it was gorgeous! Great shades of orange complimented by blue. Even without, it was a very pretty level! I like this level a lot.

a short sweet level with a clever bit at the end. I enjoyed the large amount of cozy orange.

P.s - this made me want orange juice :energy_tank:
