2. Stock patriot animations
3. Mag has no feedlips
4. Bolt doesnt move/ no firing animation
5. Misplaced casing particles
6. Underwhelming gunshot
7. For some reason there seems to be another dual render in the front of the scope
8. No reload sounds, like, not even the stock patriot ones
I rate 4/10
Dual Render scopes are one thing, and they can be pretty interesting - but dual render that's enabled in third person is a strike, and dual render that applies to both the front and rear of the scope doubles what performance problems there are with using DR scopes on lower end machines - another strike.
The third strike comes from using stock animations that both clip with the weapon on draw, as well as failing to utilize the reload audio that plays on the stock Patriot for the exact same animation.
This also implies a lack of animation on the bolt during both reloading and firing, on top of lackluster gunshot audio. It's as if it's more reverb than gunshot - mistimed, perhaps. There's also the casing ejection set to local, and the exact placement and size of the casings, but I think I've made my disagreement with this mod clear enough.
I expected more from a solo weapon release, especially with the hype in these comments.
