I updated this mod for DLC Compatibility, if the Skyrunner finds time to check the changes and decides to publish them, they will be able to be downloaded from Steam, for now they can be downloaded from Github: https://github.com/BaalEvan/sky-oni-mods/releases/tag/DLC_Compat
Installation: Unzip into: Documents/Klei/OxygenNotIncluded/mods/local then select in ModLoader

Do, this doesn't allow us to pipe liquids/gasses through pipes, and radiate heat into space? This is mostly for buildings located in space, correct?

14/07/20 - Version AP-420700 - This mod still works, confirmed items radiate heat, there is an info-tag in the hover-over tooltip showing the rate of -DTU's :)

@Mary, no it doesn't I am using this mod. If you have Mod Manager installed then it crashes, so it's a mod manager issue not an issue with this mod.

I have the problem that every mod I have is disabled. If I try to enable it the game say that there is an error and the mods are diabled and the game restart. Is this a common thing or just for me?

Please add an option to set the minimum temperature a building is allowed to get. (once it gets to it, stops radiating).My water gate froze,The oxygen is gone.so sad

My Miner got past it's overheat temperature point and started overheating. The problem is that even after it got below it's overheat point (because of radiating to space) it continued showing the overheating notification.

You can simply edit the constant "5" to 333 if you want that to be the min temperature.

The minimum temperature is already set to 3 K, the temperature of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. Additionally, heat will always scale by the fourth power.

Thaddeus: It already radiates heat in a similar amount to the mining drill. Because the meteor defense laser produces such massive amounts of heat, though, it likely can't be cooled just by radiation if it's frequently on.

Great mod although it's not radiating from the telescope build which is most often in space and exposed to hot regolith.

Question regarding the "Radiative Tiles". Do they transfer heat away from its neighboring objects? If so, can they radiate the extra heat a power transformer creates?

So, the only way to keep things like power transformers cool then would be to build 2 for each circuit and have them on automation so that both only work for a cycle or half of one and then turn off to bleed off their heat while the other then works

The 300 DTU/s is how much it's producing *after* the radiation, I believe. If you mouse over the heat production on the sidebar, it should break down what's affecting the heat.

I use your mod and finally breached space and built some large power transformers there standing on Radiative Tiles. The transformer is producing 165-300 DTU/s and radiating ~850 DTU/s but it continues to get hotter and hotter, roughly 0.1°C per 5 seconds.

Unfortunately that isn't possible with the game engine as it is :( All the heat transfer stuff is normally handled in simdll, meaning I can't touch it as a C# modder.

I also would like that EVERYTHING that touches space, would lose heat. Because i think that would really create a scenario that we WANT to insulate to keep our duplicants warm and not that "normal" insulation to not fry our duplicants. xD

I have installed a little electrolyser setup in space and was odd to see the batteries freeze but the hydrogen generator keep its temperature forever and just keep increasing... would be kinda more fair if everything lost heat so your race would be to keep your base warm (am playing the islands map) because all the heat radiates away...

Huh, I could use that to cool down regolith then? Build storage bins in space, put those tiles below them, and make a pool of water with drywall behind it and those tiles radiate the heat away? Or does the water block the radiating?

And how far do they cool it down? Absolute zero?

If you have a small amount of liquid, then machines can conduct heat to the tiles, and from the tiles to space.

Don't really get how it's supposed to work. Since there's no radiation of heat into space by machines (without your mod), the machines would have to transfer their heat to the tiles beneath them. But they don't do that, do they?
